Catholic ecclesiology is the theological study of the Catholic Church, its nature and organisation, as described in revelation or in philosophy. Such study shows a progressive development over time. Here the focus is on the time leading into and since the Second Vatican Council (1962-1965).
In Christian theology, the Christian Church is traditionally divided into:
the Church Militant (Latin: Ecclesia militans), which consists of Christians on earth who struggle as soldiers of Christ against sin, the devil, and “the rulers of the world of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places”;
the Church Penitent (Latin: Ecclesia poenitens), also called the Church Suffering (Latin: Ecclesia dolens) or the Church Expectant (Latin: Ecclesia expectans), which in the theology of certain churches, especially that of the Catholic Church, consists of those Christians currently in Purgatory; and
the Church Triumphant (Latin: Ecclesia triumphans), which consists of those who have the beatific vision and are in Heaven.
These divisions are known as the three states of the Church, especially within Catholic ecclesiology. These divisions are often discussed in the context of the doctrine of the communion of saints; although Christians may be physically separated from each other by the barrier of death, they nonetheless remain united to each other in one Church, and support each other in prayer.

The Church Triumphant
The term triumphant (Latin: triumphans), means “exulting, rejoicing exceedingly”, taken from a figurative usage of triumphus, originally designating the Roman triumph. Those who constitute the Church Triumphant rejoice eternally in the glory of God, to whom they are united in the beatific vision.
The Church Suffering
The term penitent (Latin: poenitens or paenitens means “repenting, being sorry”. Those who constitute the Church Penitent are in Purgatory to satisfy whatever portion of the temporal punishment due for their sins was not satisfied before death. They are in a process of purging their imperfections before entering heaven. It is held that all members of the Church Penitent will eventually join the Church Triumphant.
The alternate term suffering (Latin: dolens, lit. ‘grieving’) emphasizes the nature of souls’ experience in Purgatory; they are suffering the temporal consequences of their sins to redemptive effect. The other alternative, expectant (Latin: expectans or exspectans), emphasizes that the souls of Purgatory are awaiting expectantly the beatific vision of heaven.
The Church Militant
The term militant (Latin: militans) has a primary meaning of “being a soldier, performing military service”, but it acquired a secondary meaning of “serving, performing service, laboring”, with its root milito coming to mean “soldier of Christ or God” in Medieval Latin usage. The members of the Church Militant, i.e. those Christians on earth, are engaged in spiritual warfare against sin in order that, when they die, they might enter heaven and join the Church Triumphant. Failing that directly, those who believe in the existence of Purgatory hope to die in a state of grace and join the Church Penitent, to purify themselves of their imperfections and, ultimately, join the Church Triumphant.
The Catholic Church commemorates the Church Triumphant and the Church Penitent in its liturgy on two consecutive days: All Saints’ Day on November 1 (the Church Triumphant) and All Souls’ Day on November 2 (the Church Penitent).
These terms are not used in the Catechism of the Catholic Church, an authoritative summary of the teaching of the Catholic Church published in 1994. However, the teaching these terms represent is precisely restated, quoting Lumen gentium:
The three states of the Church. “When the Lord comes in glory, and all his angels with him, death will be no more and all things will be subject to him. But at the present time some of his disciples are pilgrims on earth. Others have died and are being purified, while still others are in glory, contemplating ‘in full light, God himself triune and one, exactly as he is’.”

“My reaction in the Catholic Ecclesiology is we must do good things when we are alive, In lesson of the church suffering i feel so awakened because we must correct our imperfections that we do in our own lives so that there’s a possibility that when we died we can enter heaven”.

Last week, we had a discussion about the angels and what happens when people died. It strengthens my faith to God. It also helps me to realize how powerful He is. He is there to guard each one of us. He gives us protection to all the evil. He cared for us. He sacrificed Himself for our sake. He gave us life to live.
The lesson awakened the grace He gave me. It feels like he’s pulling me closer to him. I realize that every sin I make has a big consequence. Lastly, I’m really happy to be part of His children, it encourages me more to believe Him, only to Him.

Christian Church is divided into:
CHURCH MILITANT – tungkuling pabuksan ang langit.
CHURCH PENITENT – also called the CHURCH SUFFERING
EXPECTANT – consists of those christians cutrently in purgatory
CHURCH MILITANT – has a primary meaning of “being a soldier, performing a military service” but it acquired a secondary meaning of serving, performing service, laboring”

Last Wednesday, we had a discussion about Catholic Ecclesiology, Why there are other religions and that you can’t read the bible alone if you don’t know and understand Aramaic language. Honestly, there are times when I have a lot of doubts and questions regarding the bible and my religion. I am easily swayed by the beliefs of other religions. Whenever they are questioning why is catholic this way, I will also start questioining why is my religion this way? I honestly thought of converting my religion from catholic to born again. Also at the back of my mind I always thought that the bible was man made and can be read by just anyone, so how come it is that special? Until last Wednesday, what you’ve taught us about the bible helped a lot and changed my perspective about being catholic. I feel like I’ve been baptized for the first time again and was newly introduced to be a catholic. I thought that this is another chance for me to deepen my faith in God as a catholic. Not that religion matters most. I know that it is my faith in God that matters most. However, for me a religion that you knew deeply in your heart and as to why is it this way is important. Last Wednesdays’ discussion awakened my sense of belongingness to catholic church. Now, I’m not feeling lost anymore regarding what religion should I believe in. Now, I’ll proudly say in my heart that my religion is Catholic, that I belong in it. In addition, the essence of the bible became clearer to me because of the discussion we had, my doubts and questions vanished and all I can say whenever I think of the bible is amazing. I am truly amazed. It might sound funny but this is how I really felt after the discussion. It’s like, there’s something within me that was locked but the knowledge you fed us was the key to unlock it.
Regarding the Ecclesiology, I felt excited and amazed while discussing about it. My heart felt really full whenever I think about it. I am fond of saints and knowing that they are the church triumphants and they may intercede for us, makes me happy. It may be weird but it is just simply how I feel about it. Whenever I pray, I am including the angels and saints through thinking/talking to them. Reason I am happy that they are really there for us in the church militants. The most important thing that happened to me because of the discussion we had, I feel a lot of love for God more after. He’s just really amazing and lovely realizing how deep is His love for everyone. It is true that no one can match His love for us. I just thought of it while thinking about how church triumphants and church militants may pray for church sufferings so they could be with Our God even if they have sin. God loves us no matter what.

I was amazed by the Catholic Ecclesiology, not just because i didn’t know that this kind of topic is, that “some” cle teachers are discussing this kind of lesson/topic but because this is a really interesting lesson to have more knowledge about god, the bible and all involved in this. This is really an interesting lesson for me, knowing who are presenting the prayer of men to god, knowing the sphere of the church triamphant and where are we going is what we must know. My faith was awakened already its not started in this lesson but i can say when the time my teacher karlo said that the kingdom of god is within our heart and you have to have a surge of heart. I’m very much happy on the discussion we had last wednesday about the Catholic Ecclesiology because it enlightened me and gave me more knowledge about it. I was amazed by the different spheres and their function in the kingdom of God. Honestly, I thought that Lucifer is the rival of our God since day 1 but I didn’t know that he became servant of our God specifically, he’s a part of first sphere and also, he’s a bearer of light. In addition, I was shocked when Sir Karlos said that purgatory and hell is just the same and there’s no hell or purgatory in the bible instead they used Hades as an description or name of external suffering.
The part where I was awakened when Sir Karlos stated the differences between purgatory and hell which says that in purgatory, there is a possibility to enter or to go in the kingdom of God but in hell, there’s no possibility. Moreover, it takes time to enter the kingdom of God when you are in purgatory like Adan and Moses. They are in the purgatory in thousand of years before they enter the Church Triumphant.

We directly talk to our God in Jesus name.Hindi ako dis-agree doon dahil hindi ko nababasa at alam ang lahat at naniniwala akong walang perpektong church but there is a fake.

Regarding in our session i really marveled by the catholic ecclesiology because i’ve learned a lot and felt the importance of how our life can be better the way we believe and the way we feel the presence of god. According to sir Karl we have a 1st 2nd and 3rd Spehere and the communion of saints to reach the God Jesus Christ (Church Triumphant) this situation i awakened my Christian faith and also the Church Militant.
All of us has soldiers and aquired a secondary meaning of service, performing service, or laboring with its roots milito coming to mean “Soldier of Christ/God” christians are engaged warfare against sin in order that, when they die, they might enter heaven and join the church Triumphant.

My vision on the Catholic Church became broader as it is separated into three different “parts”.
First, the Church Militant where are of us people are a soldier of Christ. We are fighting sin and evil doings here on earth obeying God and disregarding sins.
Second, the Church Suffering where all of the souls who departed from their body will go. In this church, all souls are repenting for their sins, asking God’s forgiveness and asking God to cleanse/purify our souls so that we can join him in his kingdom with pure hearts and soul.
Lastly, the Church Triumph where all souls are already pure and ready to join God in his kingdom adoring and glorifying him as he is our God the omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent.
In conclusion, we are all destined to be with God in heaven but, it is up to us where we want to be. We are free to choose our own path back to God. We are free to choose whatever we want to be because God have plans for us.

Yesterday, our teacher from CLE taught us about the Catholic Ecclesiology, and i was surprise because there are spheres you have to pass by before you see heaven, i thought, when you die, your soul will automatically go to heaven but it will go to church suffering or purgatory. You will wait for judgement until God made a decision where you belong. I have learned so many things about the lesson yesterday and it was life changing because you need to change your life, your life and do good things always before it’s too late. God is a fogiven father. You just have to pray and say sorry and don’t it again. He will always understand you.

I’m very enlighten and awake about Catholic Ecclesiology. It enlighted my faith because me personally never heard about things like that because i’m not really a religious person. I’m really amazed about how my CLE teacher deeply explained about the topic and even answered our curious questions about it. I also learned that we shouldn’t pray for the saints because they’re just helping us, we should pray directly to our God. The recent topics/lesson were very interesting for me that’s why i’m very focused when our CLE teacher are discussing. My faith was awakened more than before. Now i’m more educated about what will happen when we die and the real church or where the God really is in our hearts. My faith has restored and I just thank Him for my everyday life.

I was impressed by our previous lesson which is about the Catholic Ecclesiology. I’ve learned many things, and I can say that some part of our lesson awaken my faith. In the part where Sir Karlo discussed about the angels specifically the guardian angels of the people/us. At first, honestly I don’t give much attention to my guardian angel but when Sir Karlo discussed about the angels, I’ve learned that we need to give more attention to them because they are the one who will fight for us when the judgement comes. They are also the one who guides us and they also know what we are doing in our lives. I’ve also learned that the role of saints is to pray for church militants and the role of the church militants is to pray for saints because they are near to God. They can help us to pursue all our prayers to God. I also felt restored again after dicussing the lesson. I feel that God touched my heart and the his kingdom lies again to my heart.

I was astonished by the Christian Ecclesiology because it only shows that God really loves us and how he truly care for us. All of us have our own guardian angel who protects us and we need to be friends with them simply by fighting the temptation of doing things that can hurt or harm our brothers and sisters because God wants us to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. I remember when I was young, someone told me that my guardian angel will be sad if I do something bad or wrong against someone but my guardian angel will be happy if I am a good girl or behave. It sets as my reminder until now, that I only have to choose to do the things that are good because someone will be sad if I decided to commit a sin. God is really listening to our prayers and will send what do we need and He knows when is the perfect time to have the thing or things we have asked Him for. The part of the lesson which awakened my faith as Christian is that we have our brothers and sisters who are in the purgatory (church suffering) who needs our help (church militant) by praying for them and for their sins so that they can have the chance to enter the heaven. Even they are not with us anymore our responsibilty for them will not just end when they are gone because we still have to help them as God never gets tired of helping us out in troubles.

I was amazed by the Catholic Ecclesiology because this is a really interesting lesson to have more knowledge about the Church and also to God. For me as a servant, you can’t understand the bible or the message of the Lord if you don’t have Faith in your life and also you can’t stand by your own feet and face the challenges that you have in your life if God is not the center to your life. We live in this world that is full of struggles in life. To be honest, I usually go to church every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday to attend mass. Because I know that God is in my heart and He will never leave me alone, specially when I was fighting all the challenges that sometimes I can’t take it anymore. and I know that this is another chance for me to deepen my Faith in God as a Catholic. Last Friday’s discussion, I think as a person who has a faith, we need to give more attention to the angels that we have because they are the one who will fight for us when the judgement comes, without them we will lose. and also they are the one who will guide for our everyday doing. Now I want to share with you this message if you fall or you feel like giving up that “no matter how long or rock the journey is, I will always find my way to my destination. Sometimes I will fall, but I will always find a reason to stand up again because of my God who loves me and believes in me.”

Last Tuesday, our teacher discussed about the Catholic Ecclesiology. Actually the whole topic not just enlighten my whole being and strengthen my faith in God but also it gives me the knowledge about the bible and to other religion.
This Topic gives me goosebumps, I learn new things that i didn’t know before. It takes away my doubts about my religion which is the Roman Catholic. I am amaze how our teacher introduce the spheres of God. I finally discovered the different angels of God, the angels that we have. After a along time it enlighten my thought about angels. Before i only know that angels is our guardian angel, but eventually it is not just that, because angels possess different kinds of role and they are the agents of God.Another, i also found out that angels have six wings, the first two is for covering the face because it was said that God should be the center of all , that other two is covering the feet and the last two is using for angels to fly. I also discovered that before, Satan is a cherubim and in cherubim there are four evangelists. That the Kingdom of Heaven is called the Church Triumphant. The whole lesson touches my heart, a weird feeling that i can’t explain, maybe because i am astonish to the topic that was discussed and i feel like a new person. I’ve learn from this lesson is that we should make a way to know everything about God, Angels, Saints and more. I’ve learn that we should not have doubt to our religion, we should be thankful at the same time we should repent or pray our sins because even though God is forgiving we should not abuse him.
We should always remember, God sees and knows everything, God does not merely overlook such sin, but is prepared to judge and condemn people for their sin.

Because of this topic it strengthens my faith being a Catholic. Sometimes I ask my self where God came from, where will I go after death, why do I believe in God, etc. Those few questions have already been answered by my teacher in CLE. He explains to us what heavens look like and where the kingdom of God is located and because of this topic I believe in God even more. I was blessed because as a Church Militant I must know this Catholic Ecclesiology.

It was interesting to know more about the Catholic Church. The discussion that we had was honestly an oppurtunity for me to see and know even the sligthest details about my religion that I missed. The most striking part of the lesson that has gotten me last discussion was the real idea of why we celebrate All Saints Day every first day of November. In my entire life, I thought that it was always for the Saints of the Church. As members of the Church Militant, we are all on the battlefield wherein we were engaged to fight against sin. Despite the difficulty of being on this battlefield, these poeple, just like as, were recognized and become saints because they stepped on the holy ground to have an intimate relationship with God. I was astounded to know that All Saints Day is not necessarily just for the saints but it is for all the people who were once lived in holiness, just like the saints, but were not known by the Church.

our last topic on CLE is The Catholic Ecclesiology and it is so good to learn something about that. Knowing the Church triumphant and the church suffering is where i was awakened, because knowing each sphere is very interesting because before you enter the heaven you have to go through purgotory, Communion of saints and the 3 spheres which is very interesting, Sir Karlo discussed these 3 spheres and the 1st sphere got my attention because the servants of God the son are here such as Seraphim, Cherubim and Thrones. Also our guardian angel and saints are the one who’s sending our prayers to God and they’re the one who’s helping us to get close to God.

“Last Wednesday we have tackled about the “Catholic Ecclesiology”. It was the very first time that I have heard such a term, because before, all I know is that angels, guardian angels, prophets, saints, do exist, not knowing that there is more than that. There is something beyond my knowledge and that is the “Catholic Ecclesiology”.
I was so impressed the moment sir karl told me the 3 different spheres of the kingdom of Heaven. Heaven has only one center, also known as GOD. and there are 3 spheres around God. First refers to the servants of God namely; Seraffin, Cherubin (which is where Lucifer was included before he became satan), and the Thrones. The second sphere refers to the protector of the creation of God (The tree of life) wherein Lordships, Stronghold, and Authority are included. And lastly, the third sphere refers to the Messenger of God where the Principalities of Princes, Archangels, and Guardian Angels is placed.
I have learned that the kingdom of Heaven is beautiful. It’s a place where you won’t be able to know each other but still treat each other well, just like what karl said, every creation of God is beautiful, and will always be beautiful.”

At mayroon din communion of saints.

Growing up as a Christian, my parents raised me religiously devoting myself to the Lord. As I commit sin, they would always say that “I should go repent to the Lord and beg Him for forgiveness” it is because they told me that every sin I commit brings me closer to hell — and my concept of heaven and hell was the mainstream idea of most people of it. Every Saturday we have our bible study while on Sundays is us going to church. We do this often, that’s why as time goes by, I feel like it loses its meaning. At some point, the fire and desire in me stop burning. Then I started to question my faith, and what do these things I’m attending to do to me?
Last Tuesday teaches me about the angels and saints, its different spheres and what does the kingdom of God looks like. But, aside from that it awakens me as a Christian because it teaches me that heaven is real and so is God. I may not physically see it, but judgement day will come one day, and I will regret the days I chose to question myself and my faith.

The part of the lesson that I have read caught my attention really most and awake my faith was the Church Militant and Church Triumpant. Church militant is us the one who are the soldier of God and also the one who follow the main captain which is our Lord. We, are angels and soldiers of God, we fight the devil because we knew that even though we cant fight for our ownself but we had Jesus to be the one who gave us strength to fight for every sins and not inly to fight but to serve too to the Holy One. And lastly is constitute of Church Triumphant who will giving thanks and rejoicing the name of the Lord. This is must posses of the children of God but we cant have it ,most of us had everything or anything but in a simple act of giving praise and honor to the Lord we can’t do.

I was amazed and surprised about the classroom discussion on the Catholic Ecclesiology. Before I just have a little knowledge about this topic but after hearing those things discussed it makes me more knowledgeable about catholic ecclesiology. I am happy at the same time because it was a pleasure for me to listen about this beautiful topic that will make my faith awakened.
The part of the lesson that awakened my faith as a Christian is when it is mentioned that “although Christians may be physically separated from each other by the barrier of death, they nonetheless remain united to each other in one Church, and support each other in prayer”. In hearing those words I felt that my faith begun to be awakened .This makes me realized a lot of things as a Christian. I realized that prayer is the most powerful thing in the world. Through communicating with the angels and most specially with God. Prayer makes our faith stronger and stronger day by day .We should pray always and let God and the angels hear and feel us.

Last wednesday, we discussed about the Catholic Ecclesiology. In this topic, I was impressed because I’ve learned a lot about the three different sphere which is the 1st sphere the servants of God,2nd sphere the heavenly governance of creations and the 3rd sphere is the protectors and messenger of God. After the sphere’s there is Purgatory that will punishment due for their sins and not satisfied before death. This topic is really interesting and informative because as a christian we’ve gain a knowledge about God and the different sphere before going to the top or highest which is God. I’ve also learned about the angels, saints or evangelish.
The part where I was awakened when Sir. Karlo discussed about the Archangels that we have our own archangel based on what day we born. This Archangels of God, the protectors and messenger of God.

I am greatful on the discussion we had last monday about the Catholic Ecclesiology because it enlightened me and gave me knowledge about the topic.

When I was a child I always believe that those people who are good and kind will be taken by God and those who are bad and sinner will go to hell. After that, me and my classmates back in junior high had a small talk about religion and some religious stuffs. I asked them if Angels, Kingdom of Heaven, Hell and Purgatory are just “concepts” to scare children and teach them good deeds. To be honest, I’m a person who rarely read bible and go to church even if it’s Sunday or Friday so I have no idea with these things. I was not sure with that, until last Thursday.
I was really amazed with the lesson that was taught to us. Knowing the 3 churches and the angels, that time I was imagining the look of the angels and their powers. That part really excites me to know more about my religion. Now I’m starting to read some bible stories and I even go to church last Sunday. If there’s one realization that I will carry from our last discussion that is to use our freewill in a good way, in short live our life with purpose of course with God as the center. I think it’s not too late to change our perspective and know more about our creator.

I learned that there are church of suffering, church of triumphant and the church militant. Sir karlo told us that we are not praying in saints but we are asking for the saints to pray for us because they are closer to God. I was awakened when sir karlo told us that there are no people in hell because im curious about when bad people die where do they go but sir karlo explained that they are in purgatory and all of the dead people.

The discussion in our class about Catholic Ecclesiology was informative specially about the 3 division of Christian Church or the “3 States of the Church”. It gave me knowledge that when you die you don’t go to the Church Triumphant directly but instead you are directed in the other 2 out of 3 division or states of church, you either go to the Church Suffering or Church Militant. Another topic in our lesson that gave me knowledge is about the 3 spheres that sorrounds God who are helping him. In 1st sphere consisting of the “Servants of God” which are the Seraphim, Cherubim and Thrones. In the 2 sphere consists of the “Heveanly Governance of Creations” which are the Dominions/Lordships, Virtues/Stronghold and the Powers & Authority. The 3 Sphere consists of the “Arcangels/Angels” or the so called “Messenger of God” consisting of the Principalities of Princes, 7 Arcangels and Guardian Angels.

Last discussion is all about Catholic Ecclesiology and I’m so amazed on this topic because I’ve learned a lot of things about the different spheres and angels and it’s I’m so happy to know that there are 7 angels with different characteristics and I have mine also and He is Gabriel and I named my angel Gabriela since I love that name ever since. Charot! Furthermore, the differences between Church Triumphant, Purgatory or Church Suffering and the Church militant was so amazing also because I never know that there’s a Purgatory ever since and Adam and Moises waited for so long for them to go in heaven which is Church Triumphant. In Addition to what I love about the discussion is one called the protector of men which is the Guardian Angels. I really love sharing about the angels because they’re a servant of God who assigned to protect us in every single moment and I really really love them so much.

Last meeting, Mr. Karlo discussed about the Catholic Ecclesiology which means a theological study of the Catholic Church’s nature and organisation. The Catholic Church is traditionally divided into 3: 1) Church Militant, 2) Church Suffering and 3) Church Triumphant or in other term it is the 3 States of the Church. My reaction about the Catholic Ecclesiology is that I personally don’t know that and I really don’t get what is a purgatory but when my teacher discussed it. My knowledge widen and my question is answered briefly by our professor. My faith is awaken on the Church Triumphant part of the discussion because I really don’t want to suffer and I want to be with God. I want to go back where I should be. That part awakes my faith. I realized that I need to follow and have strong faith on God.

After the discussion last monday, my spiritual health gained a new knowledge about the Catholic Ecclesiology and it made me realize that proper knowledge about this can save us from fears and mistaken notions. This lesson also thought me that we are the church militants and we should always pray for others and the church suffering. Even though I know that prayer is the weapon from every things that might happen positively or negatively, sometimes I still forgot to do it, but some realizations hit me. Just like, I am not praying for myself, I am praying for the whole church and its sufferings. If I can’t give them material things, I should just offer them prayers because it is more helpful and powerful than anything else. Each individual has its own angels since they are born and this made me reflect in my life today, I thought of many moments when it seemed like a guardian angel was watching over me, from guidance or encouragement that came to me when I needed it the most, to rescuing me from a dangerous situation. My spirit awakened from the mistaken notions that I knew, it made me think and realize deeper as a Catholic and I should be engaged in spiritual welfare and serve o the church as much as I can because, I believe it can help me grow deeper in my faith.

Since I haven’t had any clue about the Catholic Ecclesiology before, af course I was amazed as usual on the discussion about the topic, about the divisions of the church. because the only church I know was the one I seldom visited on Sundays. I am pleased to study the 3 divisions of the church for the questions in my mind had been answered and cleared through the help of discussion, at least now I can finally say that Christians do not worship the statue of Christ or the Virgin Mary or even the statue of the Saints for they serve as a mediator so that the people on the Church of Militants can have a strong connection with the Almighty.

My realization is Catholic ecclesiology is the theological study of the Catholic Church, its nature and organization, as described in revelation or in philosophy. Such study shows a progressive development over time. Here the focus is on the time leading into and since the Second Vatican Council .

Last meeting sir karlo discussed us about churh ecclesiology. I learned a lot from him about the church ecclesiology meaning the theological study of the catholic church. The church has three states those are church militant which consist of Christians on earth struggles as soliders of Christ against sin. The Church penitent is also called the church suffering or thr Church expectant. The last is the Church triumphant which consist of those who have the breath vision and are in heaven.

Piled up questions about my religion was taken into light when our discussion ended. I was reminded again why I believe in Him. One question I had was why do we have saints. Although this is a question probably restricted to be asked, the lesson cleared my mind. I grew up in Roman Catholic’s praise of saints, and I thought, didn’t He say not to praise anyone other than Him? But turns out, we, are not praying to the saints, we are actually asking for there intercession because they are now closer to God. I was relieved to know that and that’s one of the questions I didn’t have the courage to ask because I was afraid of asking questions about the existence of some things in my religion. I also learned how we are all under the same God. One point was the knowledge that Communion of Saints prays for the Church Militant, and we, prays for the Church Suffering. Lastly, the lesson about the angels actually helped me a lot. There are many times when I feel afraid, but the lesson reminded me that He has someone guiding me, even though life gets me to its worst, He and His angels will always have my back.

My realization in Catholic Ecclesiology is that our purpose here in earth is to pray for the souls that in the purgatory, because when we pray for them the gate of heaven opens. I also learned about angels and Catholic doesn’t praise any saints, we are asking for their help for God to hear us because they are more closer to God. I learned the theological study of the Catholic Church. All of my answers and doubts answered when the Catholic Ecclesiology was discussed to us by sir karlo. I’m also happy because we understand and learn the misconception about Catholic that we are praising the saints, relics and the blessed virgin mary, but we just only asking for their help because they are closer to God but we don’t praise them, we only acknowledge them.

I was amazed and glad on our classroom discussion on the Catholic Ecclesiology that we have tackled about last time. I was amazed because the terms, the lessons and knowledge are very new/unique for me that I also didn’t knew before. I am glad because I knew who is my Guardian Angel and Sir Karlo don’t even let us think of what we shouldn’t think. He taught us a lot of things that we have to know and he even put in our heart and mind that there is no such a hell because God is loving and forgiving.
The part of the lesson that awakened my faith as Christian, is that, these things, the angels, the spheres, and more are so real and so is God. Because, we people, don’t even know if it’s real because there are no proof given to us if these things do really exist. But, by learning this lesson, simply listening to our teachers, we can be amaze and be thankful enough to learn that no matter how many times you have sinned, there’s still God to love and forgive you.

Last Wednesday we had discussed about the Catholic Ecclesiology. During the time sir Karl was discussing about it, there are so many things that I’ve realized about God and the church. The Catholic Church is divided into three, these are the Church Militant, the Church Penitent and the Church Triumphant. I’ve learned so many things about God and my faith in God became strong because before I have doubt if God is even real or does he even exist but I still do pray even though I have those thoughts in my mind not because my religion is catholic but because I feel like I have to believe in himk and I kept in mind that he is real and he is always watching and guiding us on what we are doing in life. Sir karlo proved to me that God do exist and his Kingdom is in our hea, God is above us all, he is the center and the most powerful one. The last discussion awakened me about my faith in God, I felt God in my heart and I felt his overflowing love.

My reaction is that I am surprised to find that Christian Church are divided into three parts, but we are connected to each division just by praying for each other. Even if we are separated by death, no matter what, we are always united in one church. The part of the lesson that made my faith go up a little is that we are soldiers of Christ or God, which piqued my interest in diving more into said subject, that we are always in spiritual warfare against sin in order to enter heaven and join the Church Triumphant which is really making me curious, especially about the topic in Purgatory.

My reaction in the Catholic Ecclesiology is that we must do good and avoid evil while we are living or alive, In lesson of the Church Suffering I feel so awakened because is that yes i do bad things and now that i encounter that ‘church suffering’. If Moses disobeyed the command of God and then he waited three hundred billion years just to enter in heaven, what more pa kaya na ikaw na maraming mga bagay na hindi kailan man magiging maganda sa iba o sa nakararami, we just need to wait until heaven opens for us. It’s like that we must correct our imperfections that we are doing in our own lives so that there’s a lot of possibility that if we died we can also enter in heaven just like moses did.

after ng discussion about catholic ecclesiology, I learned a lot from my professor in cle3 and sobrang namangha ako kase nuon akala ko na isa lang ang guardian angel natin pero marami pa pala at ang pinaka nakakahanga don is iba iba pa sila ng characteristics and purpose sa buhay ng isang tao, at kung nuon ay nag lalaro lang sa isipan ko ang mga bagay bagay kung paano nila nasasabi o kung paano nila naipapahayag sa karamihan ang mga kwentong noon pa lamang naganap. ngayon ay na kumbinsi na ang aking kaisipan na hindi lamanag ito gawang isip lamang kundi may biblical basis silang pinag babatayan. and one morething na nag lalaro sa isip ko ang patutunguhan ng immetarial soul kapag ito ay nahimlay na, nalaman ko na may mga steps pa palang pag dadaaanan bago tuluyang makarating sa patutunguhan at mas nasiyahan ako dahil totoo ngang wala pang nagpapatunay na may nakarating na sa hell dahil sa awa at pag mamahal ng diyos sa ating sangkatauhan. mananatili munang wonder ang ating soul sa purgatory hanggang hindi pa tayo tuluyang nakakapasok sa langit. at ang akala ko na noon ay sa mga santo or imahe ako nag darasal sa tuwing nag sisimba ako sa simbahan and we only ask for the saints and the saints are the closest to god and we are far from god that’s why we use the saints to pray. and also nalaman ko ang kahalagahan ng tatlong persona pero iisa. mas naunawan ko ang kahalagahan nun. dahil sa mga nalaman ko mas natuto akong mag bigay nang pagpapahalaga sa mga taong nakapaligid sakin dahil isa sila sa makakatulong sakin para makatawid ako sa lord’s kingdom. at mas naging malapit ako kay lord kahit papano.

The Christian Church is traditionally divided into 3 parts. Which are the Church Militant, Church Penitent, and Church Triumphant. I was amazed because i’ve learned something new about the Catholic Church, in addition we must do good things while we’re here in the earth and just enjoy our lives. The love of God is just the best! Whenever i pray i always feel the presence of god because of that i can talk to him and thank him for all the blessings that he is giving to me and to my family, before i sleep i always thank him. Just because of pray i can feel the love of god in each and everyone people here on earth. No one can match the love of god. And always do good things to people, even though you have an enemy still love them and forgive them.

Last tuesday, Sir Karlos taught the Catholic Ecclesiology. I was amazed because I’ve learned new things that i didn’t knew before, like there are different spheres in the kingdom of God, the catholic’s don’t pray to the saints but catholic’s asking for their help because the saints are closer to god, and I’ve learned the role of church millitant is to help church suffering and the difference between hell and purgatory. Purgatory there’s chance to go to heaven while hell there’s no chance to go to heaven.
Hearing those lessons from sir karlos, especially when he taught about “purgatory” i can say that it helped me awakened my faith. My fate is in my hands wether I’ll go to heaven or in hell. I have many chances to go in heaven, I’ll just have to have faith in Him. To do good in everything I do, and to always put Him in the center of everything.

Just this Tuesday “Catholic Ecclesiology” meeting in my CLE Class, I had the most enlightenment as if my life started anew. It was cleansing, assuring that where my heart truly believes is the Catholic Church and God; and that God lives inside my heart, our hearts. Even though I see myself as a Catholic back then, there is an absence of the ardor to follow my faith with God that stopped me to get closer to him. I realized that we, as the church militants of God, should not only obey to the rules bounded by the Catholic Church; but focus more on to what’s the most important thing we have to offer to God: Love. Love: is where our souls should feel the burning heat of passion towards our faith in God; and Loved: is how we should feel by loving God. God even gave me an angel to guide me with, I named him “Hope” because it’s what holds me on to the nadir points of life (I loved how beautiful heavenly creatures were described during the discussion). I also now see sins as mistakes we commit in our life. Mistakes that would lead us to a more difficult phase of tests in order for us to learn and learn in life. We as the church militants are the “Students of Life”. We should strive to learn with our experiences to get closer and closer to God. God is forgiving, and when he sees you as someone who is not yet deserving, accept it for He needs someone worthy of being called as His servant. Pray to God with the help of the Saints. Pray to people in need, to people in purgatory, pray, pray, pray. It will always lead us closer to God.
Now, I am still a Catholic, but I renew myself as a Catholic that has now the wisdom and passion to be able to love God more and to live with God closer, each day, each action, each decision, and each prayer. I love God, and I will not be deceived by life’s demons and actual demons. Amen.

Last Monday, we discussed about the Catholic Ecclesiology. This topic strengthens my faith in God and it gives me knowledge about the different types of angels, and about the bible. I’ve learned a lot of things about the different types of angels, different types of spheres. All the servants of God have their own way to protect us in every single day.
One of the most important thing to do is to pray. Pray for everyone especially for the souls that in the purgatory, because when we pray for them the gates of heaven opens.
Always pray for each and everyone.

Im so blessed that I’ve learn a lot from our CLE teacher when it comes kay Lord.

The topic is important as it made me realize how important our religion is, how god sees us as ourselves, now i know that as a follower of Jesus Christ i have much to learn, as the Catholic faith is no joke to us Christians, what marveled my world was the topic about exorcism, it rocked my world, as there are symptoms that you can follow if you are possessed, i really liked the topic as it brought me closer to my lord Jesus Christ, i know what i must do so that evil spirits will not harm me, which is to pray, attend mass regulary, and always adore Christ, i have learned that in exorcism, we are possessed but still we can see what is around us as our mind is still intact, it is important to learn the prayers in Latin as it is the languange of our lord, and the demons cannot understand it, all that i typed, it all leads down to one main saying that you should strengthen your faith, move toward god, even if freewill divides us, we still have a choice to return to our Creator, because we are the Church Militants of god, his kingdom lives within us, so let us strengthen our faith in him, and cherish him until the ends of our days. Thank you☺.

Based from what I read from the article (since I was not present during the discussion), there are three kinds of Christian Church. To be honest, I really got tired of listening to church and its lessons because all I hear is “Love God” “Trust God” and all similar “sweet” things repeatedly for 17 years. No one has explained well to me how Christian Life works or provide proof to stand their words. But after reading the article and hearing the lesson earlier about exorcism, it scared me a bit. Up to the point where I really wanted to pray seriously again after a long time. Whenever I wake up from my sleep, I always have to cover myself on a blanket to hide my fear, but now I might consider praying. What caught my attention from this lesson is the “Church Penitent.” It made me think about repenting for my sins. That before I die, i have to complete my missions and be able to pay for all the bad things I have committed. Doubting God would do me no good, whether He is real or not. Because if He is not real while I did not believe, I’d lose nothing, but if everything about the gospel is true and refused to accept it as i live on earth, I’d lose everything in the afterlife. At the moment, the lessons that we tackled helps me to make my decisions, but I never want to serve God if the only reason behind it is fear. So I want to be better. Thank you.

Last week, Thursday, we had a discussion about Christian Ecclesiology. At first, I was wondering what does mean. To be honest, all I know before is that there is God, angels, saints and everything but I didn’t know that there is something deeper than that. I was really amazed when we got to the topic about the Church Triumphant. All I know before was God is the center and I didn’t know that the angels are divided into sections according to their tasks. After the spheres, there is the purgatory where we can find the Church Sufferings, they are the souls that is wandering in the purgatory hoping to enter the kingdom of God and be with the Church Triumphants. I was also amazed when Sir Karl discussed that we don’t pray to the saints but instead, they are the ones praying for us. We are only asking for intercession. What awakened me is that if you want to enter God’s kingdom, we should be good and do good, not just to our self but to others also. Sins will not do anything good to us.
To be honest again, I don’t really believe in saints but my family does. I don’t even know how to pray but because of having a CLE class, everything has changed. I do believe in saints now but I don’t pray to them. For me, it is better to directly talk to God. I feel more at peace talking to Him but I feel sorry because I’m only praying when I just wanted to do it. Having a CLE class helped me a lot. I can now talk to others every time I learned something, I always share it. His words are really powerful. It change a man’s life and perspective. We have our destiny and that is to be with Him but He has given us our freewill so that we can do anything we want and it is up to us if doing what we want will still lead us to Him. God is really forgiving. He really is the highest definition of love because of Him I learned to love myself completely and is starting to love others.

After the discussion thought as was a really mind blowing one , cause as a person I only knew that there was only one “church” in our life, which is church of militant but then when I heard the lessoned it changes my perspective towards it, or let’s just say it gave me again another lesson about the different types of church and also about the Angel’s it’s kinda cool because the task that givin or gave to the Angel’s same in people but not exactly cause there are still different from ours. And one of the thing that amazed me is how they delivered all the prayers that we prayed we didn’t know that it has a lot of process before it deliver to our God and by that my faith to God became more stronger that I thought.
And the best part that awakened my faith as Christian was the ANGELS and the CHRUCHES Becaause by the help of sir karlo the way he discussed the 3rd sphere were the Angel’s that belong to that sphere was one of my guardian angel and its michael the “protector of life” and in the church of militant every time we pray for someone it transfer it to the church of suffering were we in church of militant helping those who were in church of suffering.

I was dumbfounded with the knowledge that you have taught us especially I loved to read books about angels. It was satisfying for me to know that in the Christian Church it was divided into three and each angels has assigned tasks. It was impressing for me to know such things especially as a Born Again, Christian. It awakened my faith not just for this discussion but also to our past discussion. Every discussion leaves a remarkable mark for me to learn new things about Christianity.
