Catholic ecclesiology is the theological study of the Catholic Church, its nature and organisation, as described in revelation or in philosophy. Such study shows a progressive development over time. Here the focus is on the time leading into and since the Second Vatican Council (1962-1965).
In Christian theology, the Christian Church is traditionally divided into:
the Church Militant (Latin: Ecclesia militans), which consists of Christians on earth who struggle as soldiers of Christ against sin, the devil, and “the rulers of the world of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places”;
the Church Penitent (Latin: Ecclesia poenitens), also called the Church Suffering (Latin: Ecclesia dolens) or the Church Expectant (Latin: Ecclesia expectans), which in the theology of certain churches, especially that of the Catholic Church, consists of those Christians currently in Purgatory; and
the Church Triumphant (Latin: Ecclesia triumphans), which consists of those who have the beatific vision and are in Heaven.
These divisions are known as the three states of the Church, especially within Catholic ecclesiology. These divisions are often discussed in the context of the doctrine of the communion of saints; although Christians may be physically separated from each other by the barrier of death, they nonetheless remain united to each other in one Church, and support each other in prayer.

The Church Triumphant
The term triumphant (Latin: triumphans), means “exulting, rejoicing exceedingly”, taken from a figurative usage of triumphus, originally designating the Roman triumph. Those who constitute the Church Triumphant rejoice eternally in the glory of God, to whom they are united in the beatific vision.
The Church Suffering
The term penitent (Latin: poenitens or paenitens means “repenting, being sorry”. Those who constitute the Church Penitent are in Purgatory to satisfy whatever portion of the temporal punishment due for their sins was not satisfied before death. They are in a process of purging their imperfections before entering heaven. It is held that all members of the Church Penitent will eventually join the Church Triumphant.
The alternate term suffering (Latin: dolens, lit. ‘grieving’) emphasizes the nature of souls’ experience in Purgatory; they are suffering the temporal consequences of their sins to redemptive effect. The other alternative, expectant (Latin: expectans or exspectans), emphasizes that the souls of Purgatory are awaiting expectantly the beatific vision of heaven.
The Church Militant
The term militant (Latin: militans) has a primary meaning of “being a soldier, performing military service”, but it acquired a secondary meaning of “serving, performing service, laboring”, with its root milito coming to mean “soldier of Christ or God” in Medieval Latin usage. The members of the Church Militant, i.e. those Christians on earth, are engaged in spiritual warfare against sin in order that, when they die, they might enter heaven and join the Church Triumphant. Failing that directly, those who believe in the existence of Purgatory hope to die in a state of grace and join the Church Penitent, to purify themselves of their imperfections and, ultimately, join the Church Triumphant.
The Catholic Church commemorates the Church Triumphant and the Church Penitent in its liturgy on two consecutive days: All Saints’ Day on November 1 (the Church Triumphant) and All Souls’ Day on November 2 (the Church Penitent).
These terms are not used in the Catechism of the Catholic Church, an authoritative summary of the teaching of the Catholic Church published in 1994. However, the teaching these terms represent is precisely restated, quoting Lumen gentium:
The three states of the Church. “When the Lord comes in glory, and all his angels with him, death will be no more and all things will be subject to him. But at the present time some of his disciples are pilgrims on earth. Others have died and are being purified, while still others are in glory, contemplating ‘in full light, God himself triune and one, exactly as he is’.”
Lumen Gentium

I remembered myself when I was a child, i used to believe in the concept of bad people go to hell while good people go to the kingdom of God, but after the discussion I have realised that there’s no such thing as hell. When a person dies, there will be judgement if he/she is worthy enough to enter the church of triumphant which consists of spheres with Jesus Christ in the centre. When not, he/she will stay in the Church of suffering or as what we commonly know as “purgatory” to cleanse the sins he/she committed when he/she was on earth and finally be able to enter the church of triumphant.
We never know when’s God going to take the life he has given to us back, however, we should always serve our purposes while we’re still here on earth especially in God’s will.
And also, now I understand why there is a division of religions. It is because of the misinterpretations and wrong practices. There are many things that i have to learn about my religion, and I am thankful that every lecture i get to learn more about it.

In our previous lesson that we discussed about Catholic Ecclesiology, the part of the lesson that awakened my faith and made me more enlightened than I ever thought, if we die the Church suffering in purgatory give us all another chance ’till our final judgment and released from suffering. That’s the process of purging imperfections before entering Church Triumphant and eventually place in heaven or kingdom of God.
I am truly horrified and amazed at the same time when Sir Karlos discussed about Satan or also known as Lucifer, he was God’s most precious, illustrious, glorious angel. He was God’s second in command, crown cherubin, archangel, and governance of heaven. But he was kicked out from heaven because he betrayed God and that’s why he is down below and not above in holy gratitude. Lucifer is not the devil, he became one, after being an actual angel. His name is also the Light bearer.
Now it all makes sense. My hope and faith has increased entirely since I was enlightened more to the truth. This lesson really amazed and awakened me. Now I see it deeper, I felt my soul reaches higher, my faith and belief to God grows stronger and my heart felt almighty full to the greatest of all.

I was amazed about the class discussion dahil mas marami akong natutunan about the different angels na nilikha ni god, meron tatlong klase ng angels na nilikaha si God. First sphere is the servants of god which is are the Seraphim, Cherubim, Thrones. 2nd sphere are the heavenly governors of creator, the Lordship, Stronghold and the Authority. Lastly the 3rd sphere are the Principalities of princes, Archangels which are the chief angels, and the Guardian angels. Now o know that their are different kind of angels that god’s created. Then i was surprised about the saints na sinasamba ng mga tao, base sa discussion ngayon ko lng nalaman na pag nagdadasal tayong mga tao sa saints it is still directly goes to god. The saints represents as our messenger because we’re to far away form god that’s we pray to different saints because they are the messenger of our prayer, they’re near to our god. I also learn that we can baptist other people anr also we can baptise to wash out all the sins that we made and start a new life that god’s created for us.

I now understand that to be able to go to heaven is not just to do good deeds but believe that God is a forgiving God. We make mistakes but it’s not the end of it all, God made sure that we can repent and turn our old bad ways to good. I am grateful with this kind of discussion since it makes my faith more stronger and believing that God’s will is always good. I also now understand the meaning of church militant, church suffering and church triumphant. I will always remember to trust God in all of His plan for me. I will humble down myself, accepting my mistakes and changing my attitude for my future.

Honestly speaking, last meeting (monday) was my most favorite discussion so far, I was astonished by the topic (Catholic Ecclesiology) that has been discussed and I must say it’s really a very interesting one and also it serves as an eye opener because there are a lot of misconceptions about the real story behind angels, purgatory, heaven, hell, All saints day and such things.
Furthermore, I am actually quiet awakened because I am admitting that I am a sinner and I knew that Jesus had sacrificed himself for us to be saved but we’re still letting our predetermined or free will to over power us that led us to commit some great sin. Despite of all this things, still God is indeed amazing for He forgave all of us and still giving as a chance to enter His kingdom, plus the fact that He is always sending us the angels that we need in every struggles in our life. As a Church Militant, it’s our duty to fight in this world full of struggles and wherein free will is everywhere that always leads us to commit a sin. On the other hand, I’m quiet grateful knowing that by prayers, I’m actually helping those souls who are in the purgatory to lessen their sufferings in there and will be able to make their way to the church triumphant. This realization of mine had encouraged me to pray more for them because this is the least thing that I can do to help them to be in the kingdom of God. To sum it all, I’m actually grateful and my heart is full because of that discussion, I did learned and realized a lot of things that a normal book or a normal lesson in a typical class discussion cannot give you. Like what I’ve read in a certain article, it’s being said that “Your faith is not to help you avoid problems but to go through problems with stability” your faith with God will not help you to avoid those struggles and problems in life but it will help you to go through with it with a peace in your heart, mind and soul. Just have faith in God and the rest will be fine.

My reaction about the classroom discussion on the Catholic Ecclesiology would be: excited and curious. Excited because it is the first time that I heard about such thing as Catholic Ecclesiology. I didn’t know that there are three states of the church and I also didn’t know about angels, really. Curious because after the discussion, I kept on asking and asking questions to Sir Karl because I suddenly got immersed about the topic.
The part of the lesson that awakened my faith is when the angels were introduced to us and when the three states of the church was also discussed. Why angels? It is because as a kid, I also used to believe in angels but growing up I let go of that belief because I thought that angels were non-existent creatures. Throughout the discussion, I realized that they were real and they serve a purpose. There is a reason why God made them exist. I had a sudden reflection that maybe there are things that my eyes can’t see but still I should believe. How? Have faith. What about the three states of the church? It awakened my faith because I thought when people face death, they won’t have a place to go. I don’t believe in heaven before because no one explained it to me. Whenever I ask where do angels live, where do saints live, where does God live, they only say heaven. But where in heaven? People would answer “just in heaven”. I don’t know but somehow I am not convinced so I thought maybe they were all lies made by humans. But now, I know where they are. I found explanations to questions I thought no one can answer. It awakened my faith because I honestly thought that I’d go straight to hell after death but I was wrong. I still have a chance (I’m a sinner, a very bad sinner). As long as I believe in Him and have faith in Him, I won’t have to worry about anything.
Before the lesson, I did not believe in angels and heaven. Because I always held unto the principle that as long as I did not see it or no one has seen it, then it does not exist. But after the lesson, I realized that if I have faith in Him, even if there are things I cannot see with my naked eye, my faith alone will make me believe in Him, His doings, and His power.

Growing up having the basic knowledge about the heaven and hell, it is so mind blowing when my spiritual health gained new knowledge about it again not just in a simple explanation but it is full of surprises for me and I am so amazed to be honest. Way back when i was still very young in my elementary days i believe that there is a hell and heaven and those humans who do bad things will be burned in hell and those humans who do good deeds will go to heaven that was the knowledge I’ve learned back then. In my junior high school life I learned new knowledge again we study Dante Alighieri inferno canto iii and back then i learn about the stages of hell or the nine circles of hell and through that I believe that there is really a hell. I am so amazed with the lesson that we had last Thursday it really blew my mind knowing that heaven is not just a simple heaven that you think you can go in and be a good spirit it has stages and titles for those who can get in. Knowing that there are 3 churches human will be before they can enter and finally go to the kingdom of heaven. While discussing this i am able to imagine what heaven looks like, it is not just a simple place to go, it is not what you think that when you die doing good deeds you can easily pass in the gate of the heaven. That day when i learned about this i am curious and excited to know about my religion and to know more about God our creator. To be honest I don’t really read bible back then but after learning about this im so interested now because i realized that the story in the bible was so wonderful, mind blowing and amazing I get to learn many things not just about humans but about the start of all the things here in the world i am living. we have our freewill to choose but its way better for us to choose to be in a good way, let God be our center let him remain in his kingdom in our hearts. the part of this lesson that awakened my faith as a Christian is the part when i realized that God has created such a wonderful place for us to be in when the time comes for us to live in this world we are stepping on. through this discussion i become more interested in learning more things about him and his creations.

The discussion about the Catholic ecclesiology for me was interesting it was a lot of fun learning about the sphere of angles and the 7 angles with different roles from heaven. We also tackled about the Church Triumphant or the heaven, Purgatory also known as Church Suffering and the Church militants. What I love about the topic is that I learned that even Moises waited years for the gate of heaven to open. Going back to the angles, the first sphere is the Seraphim, Cherebum and the thrones. The second sphere is the Dominions, Virtues, and powers, and lastly the third sphere is the principalities of princes and my favorite archangels, I also learned that we can name our angles.

In our room discussion I learned a lot of things I didn’t know like there is a purgatory instead of “hell”, in heaven there’s 3 sphere and there’s a lot of differents angel. It’s interesting and I enjoyed the discussion although it’s kinda hard to understand every detail atleast I knew something about Angelology, it helps me to gain more ideas about bible and the scenarios on that time. IM EXCITED FOR OUR NEXT DISCUSSION ABOUT EXORCISM. THANKYOUUUUU SIR!!!!💓

Last Wednesday, we discussed about the Catholic Ecclesiology and I was dazed by the information that I got. I never thought that every people could go to heaven because as a person, I believed that bad people goes to hell after they die but, in reality there is no hell. The part of the lesson that awakened me as a Christian is when Sir Karlo said that all of the people could have a chance to go in heaven. There, I realized how God really loves and cares for us. He never let us slip away from his guidance. In addition, he does not get tired of giving chances for all of us even though we are sinners because in purgatory, we are given the chance to cleanse and free ourselves from the sins that we committed before going up into heaven. When I think of it, we would be all rejoicing in heaven with God when the time comes. It would be amazing to see and feel His presence up above together with our brothers and sisters when we need to go up already. That is why, we should be thankful for God everyday because everyday is a miracle.

Last wednesday, Our topic was about the Catholic Ecclesiology. During the discussion, It really got my attention because I never knew that these kind of things exist. This topic expanded my knowledge about the spheres and what were the purpose of these Angels.
In my own point of view and understanding, Each believer stands an Angel that serves and protects them from any forms of disaster. They are there to watch over us until death, to guide us to the right path of life and to let us know that we are here for a reason.
In addition to the previous paragraph, Some would say that the purpose of life is to please God, while others would say that it is to be happy in this world, like the Angels, they all have a purpose like us. We all know that everyone on this Earth has a calling.
This lesson made me realized a lot of things. It strengthened my faith in God and gave me an overview of how wonderful and amazing our God is.
It also gave me a clear vision that God really works in mysterious ways and how God can change our life like how he did to Satan.
This lesson also taught me on how to value the things we have now and how to appreciate it before it will be taken away from us because not everything is permanent. It taught me how to value the word “trust” and “being the chosen one” because just like Satan, he betrayed God. For me, this will serve as a lesson for all of us that we should do good and avoid evil at all times because the highest honor that we can ever receive is being welcomed in the Kingdom of Heaven. As the saying goes by, “Many are called but few are chosen.”

Ang dami kong natutunan about sa Catholic Ecclesiology like The realm in which the holy Trinity, the angels and saints who have reached the fullness of salvation in Christ, abide. But it will have its fullest being at the end of time, when all of creation and all the Church whether the Church Militant, the Church Suffering, or the Church Triumphant, will be conformed to Christ and all reality will be one of divine praise and glory.

As I learned the catholic ecclesiology my questions have been answered because some people didn’t really know the real meaning of being a catholic because they are not educated well about our religion. This topic made me realize that prayers are always the best answer, that we really don’t pray for saints but they help us to deliver it to our Jesus Christ but when we pray to Mama Mary our prayers will be answered by our Jesus Christ. This also made me realize that prayer is so powerful and it should be sincere. This topic also answered my question that why we pray for our died relatives that they can straight from heaven and not in purgatory because we help our relatives to not go to the purgatory where he/she will suffer and also I learned that there are three sphere of angels where the 1st sphere is the servant of God, the son where they are close to our Jesus Christ, the 2nd sphere is the heavenly governors of creation where they are the supreme court of the heavenly court and the last sphere is the guides, protectors and messengers of God where they are the ones who protect is more involve to humans.

We learned last wednesday about Catholic Ecclesiology and I was especially amazed at our lesson when sir karlo discuss the three spheres, angels and the kingdom of God. I was shocked when sir karlo said that we have our own angel to guide us and they do their responsibility so I listened more closely to sir and I wanted to understand more.I didn’t expect that I learned a lot at that time and this lesson gave me more knowledge.
The part of the lesson that awakened my faith as Christian is the teachings of my teacher about how God loves us unconditionally that he will not let us experience hell. I was scared when I was a kid because I thought there was a hell . I believe in this lesson because God always lead us in a right path and he will always guide us and God is so loving and forgiving.

Since I was young, I am already aware about heaven and hell. My mother told me back then that I should not do bad things for I will be sent to hell. She also told me that heaven is place where I can see angels and Jesus while in hell, I will be meeting the demons. As a child, I was afraid to do bad things so I won’t be sent to hell. I don’t have much knowledge about heaven and hell while growing up until the discussion happened last meeting. I gained lots of information about the three churches and those who belong in these churches. These churches are called Church Triumphant, Church Suffering and Church Militant.
Connected with this, angels belong in the Church Triumphant placed within the first to third spheres. I believe that angels are real since I was young. I know that they are always there to guide and protect us, that God sends them to help us with our problems. Back then, I described angels as babies with wings. Honestly, I don’t have enough knowledge about angels and the discussion about Christian Angelology helped me a lot to know more about angels. I thought that angels are just the same in terms of their forms or appearances but I learned that their forms are based on the group they belong. I also thought that angels have the same duties in this world but angels have different tasks given by God. I know to myself that I have an angel or even angels that support, guide and help me to surpass every challenge given to me. And I am really thankful for that.
The discussion helped me a lot to understand and really believe that the three churches and the angels are real. Now, I am more interested in learning new things like this.

Last wednesday, I’ve learned a lot from CLE subject which is the topic is all about Catholic ecclesiology. This topic made me realize what life important is. On the purgatory part, I have only a little knowledge about purgatory but when our teacher discussed it properly, I know what will happen when a person dies because of their sin they did. But this study helps me to know what will do and teach me how to do great things to your surroundings. After the discussion I’ve realize a lot and my faith to God is getting bigger than before. I learn how to take care all the things that surrounded me and I carefully take care all my action that it can’t affect another people’s feeling.

I am enlightened as the different states of Church and the angels as well are discussed. It gets more interesting as the discussion continues. On my own perception, it also affects me in a way that I am somehow conscienced about the sins that I have done. But then, it also encourages me to do better on the next chapters of my life. As a person, we can’t avoid to be sinful but it also depends on us whether to change for the better or for worse. Because of the topics that were being discussed, I highly appreciate how God did make ways to protect His people with the help of the angels.
My faith became more awakened when I became knowledgeable about the angels. God is really working something good for us and He will never let us down. I trusted more of His plans and disregard such worries for I know that He is in control and His angels.

I am truly amazed and surprised while discussing Catholic Ecclesiology since I don’t have enough knowledge with this.
The kingdom of God is consists of a lot soul, I became curious on how big is the kingdom of God to accomodate them all. I also learned that the kingdom of God is divided into 3 spheres and communion of saints. It awakened my faith the moment it is said that there are souls in purgatory, they are part of the church suffering. They are the ones who did not fulfill the destiny and has eternal punishment but God is really good because they have the chance to go to heaven. As a church militant, we should have to pray for the church suffering so that they will be able to enter the kingdom of God. Prayer is truly powerful more than anything. It was also cleared to me that we are not praying to the saints instead the saints are praying for the people. We pray to God but we asked the intercession of the saints because we are far from God.

I lived my life terrified to the idea of death. I always wonder if I am worthy enough to enter the Kingdom of God. I always think that I am not ready to die because I know for myself that I have done so many sins. I sometimes let my temptations do bad things. But after the discussion about the Catholic Ecclesiology, I understand the process more clearly. For God so loved His people, He always gives chance. In the Church Suffering where in Purgatory, souls are repenting for their sins they have done on earth. God is very forgiving, even if how bad your sins are. He won’t let you be in hell, but rather help you to be in His place, His Kingdom of Heaven. Basically, there’s nothing to be afraid of death. For He loves you and He will never let you go.
Another learning is about the Church Triumphant wherein souls that are already in heaven are considered saints. Like for example, your relative that is in heaven, is already considered as saint. And on how we, Church Militants, help the souls of our family and other people by praying for them to be in the right place which is in God’s Kingdom.

I was so much amazed and enlightened on the Catholic Ecclesiology that was discussed by Sir Karl in the classroom last meeting. I was so eager to learn that I have to lend my ears to Sir Karl and make sure to not miss a word in taking down notes. The topic was what I have been wanting to be discussed for I am very curious and interested on what lies beyond the gates of the Kingdom of Heaven. Ever since I was a kid, I already knew about archangels for I had CLE since grade 1 in my past catholic schools but I never knew that there is more than a kind of angels until Sir Karl introduced me to the mind blowing discoveries. Also, I was surprised when Sir Karl told us that we can name our own angels. Hence, I gladly named mine as Rose. This made me realize on how beautiful and enchanting the Kingdom of Heaven is; it made me really want to enter there someday, at the right time with God’s will, by living in His accordance. I am pleased to have Sir Karl as my CLE teacher for I am effectively enlightened each meeting as I learn to become a better child of God.
Moreover, the part of the lesson that awakened my faith as Christian is when Sir Karl cleared that we, Christians, pray directly to only one God, not to anyone else whether it may be an angel or saint; we worship only one Almighty God. When we mention names of saints in our prayers, we only ask for intercession to help our prayers reach God for they are closer to Him. This made me understand more the purpose of Saints and nature of Christians. Nevertheless, may I be able to keep this lesson in my heart, wherein the Kingdom of Heaven lies, and be guided as I embark the journey of life until I finally return to my Father and Creator, God.

I am that person who was diggen out by the curiosity in every thing I might encounter, the reason also why there’s this eagerness in me to learn about a religion beliefs and other things that will surely awaken my sleeping thoughts about Catholic.
Catholic Ecclesiology makes me enlighten about our guardians, as well the guardians of the Kingdom of God — the heaven. First things first, I do believe that there is someone guiding through out my everyday life, but it seems like it’s not that justified, in short I doubt in some circumstance but because of the lesson tackled, it made me strongly believe that there are angels around us, a various amount of angels surround us and these angels also guard the Kingdom of God. According to the article and the lesson tackled as well, we can now specifically name what can be our stages as a person and Christians — first we are the Church Militants who are in the battle of sin, we are the soldies who fight against sin and as a person we are given the chance to do good to everyone, next we are now in the Church of Penitent or Church of Suffering, the Purgatory, where here we are given the chance to do better, be a better person and ready for facing the Kingdom of God, and lastly the Church Triumphant which says that there’s this beut vision of you in the likeness of God and you are in heaven.
These stages makes me value more my actions and made me realize that doing good things can be a small thing but means a lot after all.

Even though we have a lot of sins god always forgives us and it wonders me why not praise god, because he is the best of all. He teaches us everything and helps us to be successful in life. I realize that god and his angels thst was been sent was always with us and in us.

Lumaki rin akong nagdadasal tuwing gabi because my mother told me Jesus and angels are listening to our problems and will always make a way for us. I know purgatory the wrong way and also hell. I’ve also learned that we have 3 spheres. Everything makes sense now and by this lesson, alam kong mas lumakas yung pananampalataya ko. Prayer is the most powerful act so just pray 😊

When I was a kid, I always doubting of which path or which state I will go, if I will go to the heaven or hell. In the discussion, I was enlightened, because sir Karlo has a point that, God is so loving and merciful, God don’t want us to be in hell forever.
He wanted us to be in purgatory and fogive our sins. I also learned that Angels and Demons are too many and it’s in our reality. I never thought that in heaven have politics also. There are superiority happens and there are the rebels. The lesson that I learned, we can’t escape the truth that Angels are always here for us and the saints are praying for us. We cannot live without God and we cannot go to heaven if we are just living.

I really wanted to go to heaven but as of now I know that I don’t deserve it, So until my last breath I will do things for me to deserve it and I hope for the strength to made this. Maybe the realm of the spirit in me is slightly open, but I will do things to prevent it and that is why I am very thankful because of what Sir Karl taught us. I will always say that “I offer my body only to God”.

Last Monday, when we discussed about Catholic Ecclesiology and I’m truly amazed by the angels especially there ranking segmentation in different groups. My Christian faith awakened when you talked about purgatory, the church suffering it was the time that you asked us what happened to immaterial soul after the person dies the cycle is from immaterial soul- glorified body- start seeking for enlightenment. I really like the topic of guardian angels you told us that we have our own guardian angels and we should give them a name. There are seven Chief Angels and I’ve got Sealtiel the angel of love my birth date in the month of October happened to be Tuesday and Sealtiel is the guardian angel assign for it, I really did enjoyed the lesson everyone is excited and so do I.

Last Thursday, Our topic is all about Catholic Ecclesiology.
Naamaze ako sa nalaman ko na may ibat-iba palang angel like Seraphim ito yung mga care taker of the throne of god at ang Cherobin ay guardians to the tree of life and last ang Thrones ay Elder angels.

After the discussion about the Catholic Ecclesiology last Tuesday, my whole understanding of the concept what comes after death became different. The discussion though as that everything we did when we are still alive has a consequence when we die. All of us are sinners, no one can exempt from doing sins, but that’s the moment where God enters, even though we are sinners, he always forgives and gives us a chance to change. And being a church militant, we are tasked to change and do good while we are still alive. And for those who died, whos souls are not lucky enough to go straight into heaven, they still have the chance to repent and that shows how forgiving our God is. Even though we made sins, He still forgives. God gives us a chance and opportunity to repent our sins until our souls can go to heaven and become the Church Triumphant because it’s our destiny to go back to our creator. God was never tired of forgiving us. We should praise and always ask forgiveness from God and it’s not enough that we say sorry, if we are really sincere in asking for forgiveness, we should change until we are still alive. Also, another lesson about the different angels and their roles. I am amazed because I found out that there are many angels, the angels that God sent us that depend on our needs.

The discussion last monday was all about the ecclesiology, for me it was fun and I learned so muchand I knew that there are 7 spheres and what they do up there in heaven. I realized and conscious if purgatory was real and it was church suffering. Church Militant is where we living prat for our beloved love ones so that they could enter heaven. Church Triumphant on the other hand is composed of spheres, the first, second, third sphere, and the commumion of saints.
In this discussion I learned a lot and my questions wete answered. Through this I also learned that we are destiened to God. Before, I thought I knew a lot about heaven but I was wrong, here I learned that we must not settle for something we only knew, we must expand our knowledge. And the most important thing I learned is to pray because prayer is the most powerful way to be closer to God.

nalaman ko na may iba’t ibang anghel palang nakabantay sa atin. yung iba, oo. alam ko na meron tayong purgatoryo pero hindi ko alam na may spheres pala at meron naka assign na nagtatrabaho per spheres. bilang katoliko naniniwala ako pupuntahan natin kapag tayo’y pumanaw na at naniniwala ako na may anghel talaga bawat isa sa atin para alalayan tayo sa bawat desisyon naten para mapabuti. therefore christian life is a sacred and most faithful pagdating sa religion dahil mas isinasabuhay nila ang nasa bible.

I wasn’t able to stop my excitement as I was able to know few knowledge that I lack understanding as a Christian. Just like how would I take an insult from other religion with why we christians devote ourselves to saints. I always tend to not answer since I’m confused to it as well. Through the discussion, it has been clear to me that we are asking for their intercession not directly devoting them. I was able to understand deeply the concept of Heaven, Purgatory and Hell. It was like I was in a different dimension that I was not to familiar before, when the concepts of it, as well as for the angels were introduced to me. I always find myself perplexed with every small details that religion has and seems to get huge in me and brought me over confusion, I actually think that, that was the reason with why I was distant to God and was weak in faith before. Yet know, having myself enlightened I felt like I should’ve not doubt the faith I had and acknowledge how merciful God is that I will be still accepted.

Im the kind of person whom isnt devoted that much in religion, i got influence easily and believe unnecessary beliefs. I always hear from my friends that Catholic devotes on saints instead of Directing on God. Since i have a bunch of friends from different religion. Which i openly listen to their belief and practices regarding to their religion and their opinion about Catholic. And i started to get confuse. Why doesnt Catholic directly pray to God? After all Catholic isnt a Polytheistic religion. Why do Catholics needs to pray to the saints? Why do Catholics pray to the Angles and Spirits?. Until the Catholic Ecclesiology was discuss. It answer all my doubt and question. The we dont directly pray to the saints and angels. But we pray to them for it’ll helps us deliver our prayer to God. And we pray for the spirit to help them and get them back to the path to God. That all our prayer doesnt just benefit on us but also to those living and nonliving. And never doubt or question the beliefs or practices of your own religion by the influence or merely listening to other religions practiced and belief. Because its you and your religion that connects and can only enlighten you. You have your own sets of belief that’ll nurture/guide you and your soul. Have faith and accept it.

Last Monday sir Karlos tackled about Catholic Ecclesiology which enlightened me about different types of Angels according to what we need and the Spheres or division that they are in. When I was young I really believed that there are Angels that are guiding us but this discussion expand my understanding about the different types of Angels and their tasks and I can say that this topic interest me the most. The part of topic that awakened my faith as a Christian is when sir Karlos discussed about when the Church Militant pray for the Church Suffering, the Door to the Kingdom of God are slowly Opening so that they can be part of the Communion Of Saints. Lastly when sir discussed their mission/tasks that the Angel that are guiding us will depend on what we need on that specific time. There I realized that the One that are guiding me right now is The Stronghold or Virtuous Angel because right at this time I need a sign for me to take the path which is the will of God.

I feel secured, I really thank God send me the angels I need. I also learned about the sphere of angels. The name of the angels are awesome, and I believe that angels are amazing. Angels protects us and other living things. I was amazed, they are powerful and their roles are amazing. I was enlightened, God is really powerful. I really want to be an angel someday.

Last Friday, we tackled about the Catholic Ecclesiology and as well as the Christian Angelology. Im happy that we have discussed this topic because this topic was really an interesting. It enlightened me and gave me more knowledge. The part of the lesson that caught my attention and awaken my faith was that “Angels” are not just an ordinary angels but there’s more than that. And also the church is divided into three: The Church Militant, The Church Penitent and the Church Triumph. I was mesmerized because hell doesn’t really exists so when people died, they directly go to the purgatory. Another thing, our professor once told us that we, Catholic’s are not praying in Saints but we are asking for the saints to pray for us because they are more closer to Heavenly God.
Honestly, the whole topic is really an eye-opener and made me satisfied on what I wanted to learn and to know beyond. And this topic enlightened my whole self and as well as my faith to God.

It was a blast in discussing those things such an angels and their responsibilities. I became more curious in things that make us believe in him. Honestly, the angels that I only knew is the archangels, but when it was discussed by our CLE teacher I was being ignorant about it. I also have learned that my guardian angel is Sealtiel. It was a goosebumps in every details we discussed. God really take care of us. He is really a loving God that he won’t let us live in our own. He sent us his angels that always protect us. The whole discussion was a good one, to the point that I wish I can see those angels and feel their presence literally.

Last Wednesday, Sir Karlo discussed about the Catholic Ecclesiology. I’ve learned more about our topic because Sir Karlo taught it clearly. I’ve learned about the 1st sphere, servants of God the Sun Incarnated. The 2nd sphere which means the governance of heaven. The 3rd where you can find the Principalities of Princes, Archangels & Guardian Angels.
The lesson that I’ve learned is that there are angels that were assigned for each one of us depending from the day we were born. I’ve also learned that we should think carefully before we do something because it may cause us from not going to heaven.

Last Wednesday we discussed about the Catholic Ecclesiology. Sir karlo discussed the five sphere, the first sphere is servant of god second is governance of heaven, third is messenger of god. And i also learned that purgatory and hell are same but hell has no chance to enter in heaven and purgatory has chance to go in heaven. Purgatory is also a church suffering
I was awakened when the Archangels that we have our own archangel based on what day we born and knowing the 3 churches and the angels, that time I was imagining the look of the angels and their powers. That part really excites me to know more about my religion.

I’m not that amazed by our previous lesson which is about Catholic Ecclesiology I knew that there were many angles and there are different types of them, but now I learned about the name and characteristics of different kinds of angles. Somehow my beliefs did not fit how Sir Karl discusses the part of churches but I learned and somewhat enlighten or awaken my faith on how we commit sin that might affect our glorified body to stay in a while like Adan and Moses in purgatory. Now in every minute I pray, I include the angels that protect every individual person. I feel like a very special person because everyone’s destiny is to be with God our One and Only Creator. God’s presence is always felt by myself because He will be forever in my heart and no one could ever change his part in my heart because what he had done for me is also incoparable. Before, I thought that the word ‘Virgin’ is applicable to both man and woman but as we proceed on our lesson, I’ve learned that the right term for it is Confessor. And that certain specific word pertains to a man that is pure and untouched. Every mistake that we commit, must face a certain judgement and only Lord God can only judge us and I am very much aware that this procedure may take thousands of times but I am also very much aware that this will be absolutely worth it.
I feel like I need to learn more about them because it makes me feel happy it maybe weird but it was how I feel about this kind of topic.

I’ve learned and amazed about we’ve tackle about Catholic Eccelesiology. The past lesson makes me more interesting to learn. People didn’t know how God was merciful all the time, even we die He is always there. Honestly, I do not go in church every Sunday, that is why I dont know even the songs and the word of God, but Im always believing to Him and not forgetting was He did for us. I know that I have many negligence to Him. Also, I do not pray everyday, I feel so upset everydays because I feel empty without Him. But I’ve learn that prayers is important in terms of saying sorry for the mistakes, for thanking in every blessings, for asking for wisdom and asking for forgiveness. Prayers is powerful. Today, as a youth, I need to overcome these challenges for me to understand everything.

Last Tuesday, The topic was centered about the Kingdom of God which is the heaven and the divisions of Catholic Church which is Triumphant, Suffering and Militant.
Being a Christian, we have sins committed everyday and we need forgiveness by God that helps to enlighten and repelish our body and soul.
God will judge either we go to Heaven or Purgatory but it was never easy to go through Heaven because Christ wants to suffer first before directly go to heaven.
I learned that Heaven is a place where all our soul will live in everlasting life either our soul are will be glorified soul and body.
I also Learned from Sir Karlo that Hell is never exist in the world either in Bible there is no statement about Hell.
Actually, I Believe that Heaven is truly exist and this is our true home where Christ will embrace us and truly will live our soul peacefully.
Nalaman ko rin tungkol po sa Mga Anghel at they are guarding us from evils that surrond us.

After Sir Karlo Tackled about Catholic Ecclesiology, I learned about the angels above and I am truly amazed since I don’t have enough knowledge about it.
In this lesson I also realized how powerful God is. And How we are loved by God because of the many angels which he sent depends on our needs.

In this lesson, I am amazed by the three divisions. At first, I really thought that when there are people who goes to hell, seeing testimonies of some people in social media. But when we discussed about this, I have learned and realized that there is no such thing as hell. Also, I have learned that ‘til death, we have our chances to repent with the sins that we have done.

I was really excited after the discussion about Catholic Ecclesiology. I thought that if you didn’t accept Jesus Christ before you die means that you’ll go to hell but the answer is no. God loves us so much more than we can ever imagine. There is still a chance for those souls who are in the Church Suffering to go to Church Triumphant. Even though we sin a lot, God is always forgiving us. We can comeback to him even though we’re far away from him, just repent your sins and humble yourself before Him.
