Catholic ecclesiology is the theological study of the Catholic Church, its nature and organisation, as described in revelation or in philosophy. Such study shows a progressive development over time. Here the focus is on the time leading into and since the Second Vatican Council (1962-1965).
In Christian theology, the Christian Church is traditionally divided into:
the Church Militant (Latin: Ecclesia militans), which consists of Christians on earth who struggle as soldiers of Christ against sin, the devil, and “the rulers of the world of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places”;
the Church Penitent (Latin: Ecclesia poenitens), also called the Church Suffering (Latin: Ecclesia dolens) or the Church Expectant (Latin: Ecclesia expectans), which in the theology of certain churches, especially that of the Catholic Church, consists of those Christians currently in Purgatory; and
the Church Triumphant (Latin: Ecclesia triumphans), which consists of those who have the beatific vision and are in Heaven.
These divisions are known as the three states of the Church, especially within Catholic ecclesiology. These divisions are often discussed in the context of the doctrine of the communion of saints; although Christians may be physically separated from each other by the barrier of death, they nonetheless remain united to each other in one Church, and support each other in prayer.
The Church Triumphant
The term triumphant (Latin: triumphans), means “exulting, rejoicing exceedingly”, taken from a figurative usage of triumphus, originally designating the Roman triumph. Those who constitute the Church Triumphant rejoice eternally in the glory of God, to whom they are united in the beatific vision.
The Church Suffering
The term penitent (Latin: poenitens or paenitens means “repenting, being sorry”. Those who constitute the Church Penitent are in Purgatory to satisfy whatever portion of the temporal punishment due for their sins was not satisfied before death. They are in a process of purging their imperfections before entering heaven. It is held that all members of the Church Penitent will eventually join the Church Triumphant.
The alternate term suffering (Latin: dolens, lit. ‘grieving’) emphasizes the nature of souls’ experience in Purgatory; they are suffering the temporal consequences of their sins to redemptive effect. The other alternative, expectant (Latin: expectans or exspectans), emphasizes that the souls of Purgatory are awaiting expectantly the beatific vision of heaven.
The Church Militant
The term militant (Latin: militans) has a primary meaning of “being a soldier, performing military service”, but it acquired a secondary meaning of “serving, performing service, laboring”, with its root milito coming to mean “soldier of Christ or God” in Medieval Latin usage. The members of the Church Militant, i.e. those Christians on earth, are engaged in spiritual warfare against sin in order that, when they die, they might enter heaven and join the Church Triumphant. Failing that directly, those who believe in the existence of Purgatory hope to die in a state of grace and join the Church Penitent, to purify themselves of their imperfections and, ultimately, join the Church Triumphant.
The Catholic Church commemorates the Church Triumphant and the Church Penitent in its liturgy on two consecutive days: All Saints’ Day on November 1 (the Church Triumphant) and All Souls’ Day on November 2 (the Church Penitent).
These terms are not used in the Catechism of the Catholic Church, an authoritative summary of the teaching of the Catholic Church published in 1994. However, the teaching these terms represent is precisely restated, quoting Lumen gentium:
The three states of the Church. “When the Lord comes in glory, and all his angels with him, death will be no more and all things will be subject to him. But at the present time some of his disciples are pilgrims on earth. Others have died and are being purified, while still others are in glory, contemplating ‘in full light, God himself triune and one, exactly as he is’.”

I was really amazed on the things I have learned during the discussion especially when Sir Karlos explained that we don’t pray to the saints, they pray for us since they are much closer to God. And I was thankful for the another knowledge that I have learned. It’s great to know the responsibilities of each sphere. And feels great to know that even though we make sins there’s a lot of angels to protect us. Truly God loves us.
My faith was awaken when Sir Karlos explained about the judgement. Back then I thought that there is hell and heaven that people who made a lot of sins when they were alive goes to hell but I was wrong. “There’s no judgement yet, if there is already judgement it means that God’s love and mercy is finite.” That’s when I realize that I was wrong. I feel bad because of this. I make sins everyday but God still loves me and I am thankful to that.

We, the children of God does not have concrete knowledge or informations about divine things. Hell, the place where everyone is scared to go when they die, but we don’t really know if hell does really exist. Last tuesday’s lesson explained everything and it gave us knowledge that there is no such thing as hell. Yes, we are all sinners, we do immoral things but God is a forgiving person, He always forgives us, everytime we do things wrong but we should not keep doing wrong. If we are still alive, we still have the chance to change for the better. The lesson also gave information that angels plays a different role to the human beings. What happens after a person dies? The question of the many. The lesson gave us understanding about it. After death, we are judged in the purgatory, we are also given a chance to repent our sins and we can go to heaven because it is our destiny to go back from our creator.

After discussing the topic last Wednesday about Catholic Ecclesiology, it is so amazing on how God works. It is so cool that there are different types of angels and they are placed in each sphere. The first sphere is where “Servants of God” are. The second sphere contains “Heavenly Governance Creations” and the third sphere consists of the “Archangels”. The center of the sphere is Jesus Christ himself. It is so relieving knowing that God protects you with his angels. He’ll never leave you nor forsake you because He loves us so much.

Last frida kahit na medyo lutang ako sa klase ni sir dahil wala pa akong tulog. Naganahan ako dahil sa THE CATHOLIC ECCLESIOLOGY ito ay patungkol sa mga layer bago makarating sa langit ang isang tao ito ay dadaan ka muna sa 1st sphere kung saan andoon ang mga servants of God, 2nd sphere governance of heaven ans 3rd sphere naman ay ang mga prince, arch angels, at guardian angels.

The discussion last meeting made me realized a lot of things. The wide discussion about Angels aside from the fact that they are the guardians of God, the discussion about the Saints, and the Spheres. My faith and hope grew stronger because the discussion made me open my eyes. We are able to know who are our the angels or our guardians base on the day that we were born. Also, the discussion regarding the Catholic Ecclesiology is one of the best discussion we had so far. I, myself know that I am a sinner, I have a lot of flaws, I make sins for like every day that’s why after the discussion I asked myself and try to contemplate for the bad things that I have done throughout my life. It will take me a lot of years to repay for all the sins that I committed. I want to be a better person because of that and also I want to improve myself and put more attention to God. I also agreed with what sir Karl told us that God can only save us and that in our afterlife we will come back to him because that is our destiny.

I am truly awakened in the part where Sir Karl told everyone that no matter how many sins and mistakes that we all are doing, God will not let us go in Hell. It means that he loves us so much that he will not let everyone suffer for a long time. It implies that even though that you are a sinner, God will still give you a chance to change and he will still accept you no matter what. In this part it just shows how God loves us so much that he’ll take and admit every sins that we commit because of his unconditional love. Sir Karl also told us that there is no such word as “hell” because if there is it will contradict that God is merciful and forgiving. By this I realized that Sir Karl is such an amazing person for letting me open my eyes and realize this thing. It is because I do agree in what he is saying because I do know and fell that God loves us so much and he is forgiving. I am also awakened in the part of his teaching about the saints. He said that we do not pray directly to the saint, We pray to God. It’s just that we just use the saints as the instrument because the saints are close to God. It made me realize that what I’ve bee doing all the time that I go to church is wrong. By all of his teachings I do know now what to do. I realize that there is some things that we do wrong in the church and to God. I also learned that we should go to church even just for once a year and It is the day of Easter Sunday because in this day it means that it will wash away all of our sins.

Im amaze about the lesson and i have gain more knowledge about Catholic Ecclesiology, I my faith is awakened even though we have different religion god made us one, and he still finds a way for us reunite, and i also learn that theres no heaven, heaven is in our heart because god is in our heart.God creates us in the state of freedom. We are at liberty to choose, based on reason and will, whether to act or not in a specific situation. We are responsible for our choices. With these choices, we choose our own ultimate destiny,that of eternal life with God, or that of death.Catholic church taught me to value, to embrace, and to exclaim the mystery of our faith.

I’m so amazed when Sir Karlo discussed this lesson, simula bata palang ako naniniwala na ko sa mga angels and demons, na ang mga angels ay nasa langit at ang mga demons naman ay nasa impyerno o hell. Ngunit nalaman ko na mayroon palang different spheres bago makapunta kay God. Sa first sphere narito ang mga Servants of God, sa pangalawa naman nandito ang mga heavenly governors at sa pangatlo naman nandito ay ang mga protector, guide and messenger at example naman dito ay ang mga arcangels katulad nila michael, gabriel, at uriel. Lalong humigpit ang pananampalataya ko sa panginoon noong tinuro ito sa amin dahil lalo akong naniwala na hindi ako pinapabayaan ng Diyos, pinapadalhan nya ang sangkatauhan ng mga angels o kanyang mga alagad upang mayroong gumabay at tumulong sa buong sambayanan. Sa lesson rin na ito bumukas ang aking isip sa mga santo na sila ang nagiging daan upang lalong makarating ang ating mga panalangin sa panginoon dahil sila ay mas malapit kesa sa sa atin. Kaya dapat baguhin ang isip ng mga tao pagdating sa pagdadasal ng mga kristiyano sa mga santo. On our last meeting, Sir Karlo discussed about Christian Ecclesiology. I’m delighted that I had the chance to learn about the spheres, hierarchy and the purpose of the Angels itself. I was enlightened in the part of the purpose and the hierarchy of Angels wherein sir Karlo explained each type and differentiate it with each other. I also knew who my guardian angel is and about the purgatory that there is no hell.
Sir Karlo gave us motivations and life lessons that can help us strengthen our faith in God. He stated that our God is loving and forgiving after all the mistakes that we have committed.

After reading and having knowledge about the Catholic ecclesiology, I’ve realized that the things I knew about purgatory, demons and angels are far different from what it really is. I suddenly knew about what and why there is a purgatory after death. Knowing about this made me think about where would I be going after I die and to think that there are punishments there because of the things you’ve done before, I’m awakend that I should be faithful all throughout my life. As a church millitant, I should know the things and my responsiblities to do for me to be accepted by God and by my church itself. Even though I thought that we, people would just go directly to hell or heaven after we die, wherever we are worthy of, it’s where we are destined. But now that we are taught about the reality of purgatory and such things about making up for your past mistakes and sins when you’re still alive, I finally see how good God really is. That he’s giving his children chances to fulfill what they haven’t done when they’re still alive on earth. And so because of that, my faith became stronger. It was strengthen by my new knowledge about the Catholic ecclesiology and about how being an independent, responsible, and faithful Church millitant can take you to good places someday, which is the heaven.

There are lots of discussion that has been discussed by Sir karlos. I am more happy that i gain knowledge about the Angels and the Kingdom of God. There was a discussion that awakened my faith about the hell, heaven and purgatory. I gain knowledge about the purgatory. Some soul was in the purgatory and the good thing about it was if you are in the purgatory you can still be able to go to heaven. It means you have a chance to be in God’s kingdom. There was this thing called predetermination. It means that it is you who can decide where you can go. It’s either you do good things to be in heaven or do bad things to be in hell. Moreover, just like what Sir Karlos said na no one ever goes to hell, because God is loving, forgiving and merciful. And i really believe to that. Love of God is unconditional and he love each one of us even though we have a lot of sin he still manage to forgive us everyday.

For what I have learn today is that the purgatory is real because when I was a kid I thought that if we die all the sinners will go to hell and all the purified one will go to heaven but my thought is wrong, when I read all of this I was enlighten and this lesson correct my thought. I will continue my good deed because I want to be with God and may God will strenghten me and guide me for the right path when my path is wrong. After Sir Karlo discussed the Catholic Ecclesiology, I was amazed when he discussed that Catholic Ecclesiology has 3 divisions. When Church Militants are being purified at Church Sufferings, because when I was a child all I know that there is only heaven and hell. But when he mentioned that there is no hell, I was shocked because I really thought that there was hell. Because God is loving and forgiving that is why he only wants to purify all man and be with him.
And thanks to Sir Karlo for this lesson because I was enlightened of the Catholic Ecclesiology. And it changed my perspective about the topic.

Matapos kong malaman ang lesson nung tuesday sobrang natuwa ako kasi dami kong natutunan about sa Christian Angeology lalo na yung sa mga santo o rebulto kala lo doon dati mag dadasal pero yun lang pala yung nagdadala ng prayers naten kay GOD. Tapos po ganun din po yung ibig sabihin ng numbers gaya ng 666, 777, 999, dahil jan po mas lalo pong tumibay yung pananampalataya ko kay GOD kasi narealize ko na dapat kay GOD diretso nag dadasal hindi sa iba pa. Last tuesday our teacher thought us about the Catholic Ecclesiology and it helps me understand and be enlighten about many things. I’m very happy that our topic is about the study of the Catholic Church because it helps me to be more close to God. When I was young I’m always interested and curious when it comes about God. I truely believed in Heaven and Hell but to be honest I don’t really know what and where it is, then after our discussion everything makes sense to me. I learned that there is no such place as Hell, it never existed and there’s no statement about Hell in the Bible. I also learned about the angels that guards and watching over us and now I feel more secured, I’m really grateful now that I know the name of my guardian angel. Also, I realized how merciful and forgiving our God is, he gave us chance to repent on our sins. Maybe we do a lot of sins everyday but God still give us an opportunity and many chances, this proves that God never gets tired of forgiving us.

Last meeting, I was enlightened and impressed in our previous lesson about Catholic Ecclesiology and The 9 Choirs of Angels. I’ve learned a lot of things specifically in regard to different spheres and their function in the Kingdom of God and the classifications of angel.
As a Christian, when we tackled about Church Triumphant my faith was awakened and enlightened because I already surrendered myself and trust to the Lord and choose to press forward into the destiny which is Him, my creator. Therefore, all of us when we died we will enter in the Kingdom of God and will go back to our destiny or in our creator. However, as long as I exists, I must correct my imperfections and avoid to commit a sin so, I’ll directly enter in Heaven. Moreover, people traditionally worshipping or kissing the saints for the help of God because God is far from us so that they seek for help to the saints because saints are near to our God. Hence, it leads as an eye opener to us because last time the discussion answered the misconceptions about purgatory, hell, and even the angels.

Since I was a kid my mother always told me that I have an angel by my side that’s why since then I’am afraid to do bad things because of the consequences I may receive after doing it. she always told me that my angel is always by my side to guide and protect me I always told my angel to guide in me in my decisions and tell to God that I’am a good girl and sorry if I have made a mistake. our discussion last meeting made me realize that there are a lot of kinds of angel and it also has different jobs and positions. The last discussion is about Catholic Ecclesiology and I’m so astounded on this point since I’ve taken in a great deal of things about the various circles and angels and it’s I’m so glad to realize that there are 7 angels with various attributes. Moreover, the contrasts between Church Triumphant, Purgatory or Church Suffering and the Church activist amazed me on the grounds that I never realize that there’s a Purgatory from that point forward. In addition to what I cherish about the talk is one called the Guardian Angels. Truly love sharing about the heavenly attendants since they’re the workers of God.

the discussion last Wednesday interest me of how would heaven look like – I never thought that All of us have a place in heaven depending on how we perform here on Earth. What interest me the most is that God appear as the father, the son and the hold spirit. Most of the time we tend to question the presence of God in our life, but the discussion made me realize that He doesn’t allow the devil to fool us unless he knows that we can’t fight the devil. Also, the only reason why religions are divided it is because different interpretation of the Bible, which is why it is important that we learn how to read the Bible in aramaic before even to preach what’s inside the Bible. But even though we are divided by religion as long as we have the same faith on God and as long as we are willing to repent our sins, he’d still be willing to accept us in heaven and forgive us.

During the discussion, I was amazed by our topic since I didn’t know most of the terms used, I only know the “cherubim”. Since it was my first time to know about this, I enjoyed the topic because it gives me more knowledge about the Catholic Ecclesiology. This is an exciting topic for me since through this topic I knew that there are church triumphant, church suffering and church militant, this is my first time to know that these terms. I also knew that we are part of the church militants, we should pray for the souls in the church suffering so they will have a chance to enter in the Kingdom of God. Last Wednesday of September 14th Sir Pilosopong Karlo introduced me to Catholic Ecclesiology. Ecclesiology came from the word ecclesia that means church and ology “to study”. I think this might interest me because I never heard Ecclesiology before, and angels having powers, respective positions to serve their Lord. Angels hierarchy or choir of angels having their own purpose depending on what sphere they are in. Having hierarchy cause jealousy among angels this eventually started war some became fallen angels because of this. I felt eerie and chill in the spine when sir karlo discussed about exorcism I don’t believe on this but I felt weird, exorcism is an act of a demon possessing a human. He also discussed about the symptoms before being possed like hearing strange, unexplainable, whispering voices, feeling a burden in your back, waking up between 1am-3am “devil’s time”, feeling of being watched by an unknown entity, and seeing a strange silhouette. This strange feelings marked strongly in my head because I felt this before, I ignore it because that time I doubted God because of certain things that happened in the past. This made me realize that there is God, I may not know what does he, she or it might look like. But I believe that there is higher unexplainable entity watching and guiding all over us. From our last discussion which is the Christian Ecclesiology, I actually had fun listening to Sir Karlo because it is interesting for me. From my eighteen years of existence, I only learned about it because of Sir Karlo. I knew about the angels that God has given us. For us to be protected and guided. You see, even though we make mistakes, we do wrong things and we commit sins, God still provide us an angel to protect us from danger. That’s how genuine his love for us. And I really appreciated it so much. I feel lucky or morelike blessed. Sir Karlo also mentioned that we don’t pray to the saints, they don’t make miracles or what. We can say what we want to pray to them because they can be the path to tell Jesus what we want or what we need. But I knew that before because my mom told me that already. And I also learned that, there’s no really hell at all. Since then, I believe to that but Sir Karlo enlightened us that there’s no such thing like Hell. I realized that we people are really lucky to experience things like what we do.. to enjoy this thing that we call ‘life’. But we are all not contented of what has given us. Instead, we commit sins to do things that we want even though its not right. But then I learned, there’s no hell at all for those people who have sinned a lot. But God will just punish us and we’re still welcome in his home called “heaven”. After the discussion about this, I realized all the worth of all the things I have now, even the little things. I see now the purpose why we have to learned about this. For us to know what is really the importance of having a life with God.

Having a different religion during CLE class is not a hindrance to listen with the discussion. As I am also Christian, this topic particularly the heaven makes me realize that God is really amazing. This allows me to have stronger faith in God. Also the topic about the different Angels are very interesting especially the different types of it. Knowing this made me believe that the our guardian angels are really existing. That for every action that we made an Angel will sent to us that will guide us in our everyday life. As I was have different belief regarding with heaven, I just know that we are all the same. We have the same God. Last Thursday, the lesson was all about Christian Ecclesiology. Ecclesiology is a study of Church which consists of 3 Churches; The Church of Triumphant, Church Suffering and Church Militant. I was amazed because though I am Catholic, I don’t have any idea about the topic. I have learned many things on this subject.
The part of the lesson na na-enlightened or awakened my faith is yung about Angels. I actually don’t believe in Angels pero nung itinuro siya, mas lalo akong nalinawan sa mga pagkakaiba nito sa isa’t isa, kung ano yung mga tasks ng bawat angels. Na meron talaga tayong Guardian Angel na nagbabantay sa atin. God is really powerful. I am very thankful dahil God is really protecting us.

I wasn’t around when Sir Karl discussed this topic to be honest, but upon reading the article I kind of got curious. I don’t know how to properly put the thought I have in words. I’ve been meaning to ask someone if angels and such really exist, but with my absence I was not able to know and unable to join the discussion. So what I understood after reading is that the church is divided in three: the church suffering/ penitent/ expectant, the church triumpant and the church militant. These three divisions as I understand it and to summarize everything that I’ve read seperate every one of us from how we are going to heaven. There’s the lucky ones who goes straight to heaven (triumphant), the unfortunate ones who are stuck in the middle and would have to prove their way to heaven (suffering/ penitent/ expectant), and lastly the soldiers who fights bad beings as their key to heaven. I don’t fully understand what these all means beacause I just read it so I’m going to try and search or maybe ask someone about it. Realization still has not reach me because I can’t quiet grasp what these mean.

Namangha ako sa mga nalesson tungkol sa Catholic Eccelesiology. Mas lalo akong naexcite dahil dumarami ang aking kaalamaan tungkol kay God maging sa mga anghel. Sa totoo lang hindi ako nagsisimba tuwing Linggo at minsan lang ako magdasal pero naniniwala ako sa isa lang ang Diyos at walang sino man ang nakahihigit sa kanya. Mas nalinawan ang aking isipan sa pinagkaiba ng impyerno at purgatory dahil ang impyerno ay walang pag-asang pumunta sa langit habang ang purgatory ay may pag-asa pang pumunta sa langit. Natutunan ko rin na may apat na components kung paano magdasal yun ay ang adoration kung saan ay we praise the Lord, contrition ito yung paghingi ng tawad sa nagagawa nating kasalanan sa araw-araw sa Panginoon , thanksgiving ito yung paghingi ng pasasalamat sa Panginoon sa mga biyayang natatanggap natin at supplication o spiritual prayer ito yung paghingi ng sapat na blessings at paghingi ng guidance sa araw-araw. Natutunan ko rin na sobrang mahalaga ang pagdadasal dahil kung hindi ka magdadasal may posibleng hindi ka magtagumpay sa mga gagawin mo. Na-enlightened ako sa part na kung ano ang mga kaya at kung ano ang purpose ng mga angel. Naganahan din ako dahil nalaman ko ang angel na nagbabantay sa akin dahil ipinanganak ako noong araw ng Linggo at si St. Michael the Archangel ang nagbabantay na angel sa akin.

I’m amazed because there are so many kinds of angels and also im glad because there’s an angels who help God to help us. I learned in christian ecclesiology that the center of all is God and God is our light. There are different kinds of angels who has different responsibilities. The part of our discussion that awakened my faith in God is the part that God is alway with us. he didn’t neglected us. If we have a sin he always there to fogive us, but it doesnt mean that we will do those sin again. If God can forgive us, we can forgive someone too. God is so loveable and merciful.

Frankly, I never took interest to talk about angels, though with demons I am half-aware. I was naive back then with the work of angels, but I already know how vigilant the demons wait for their prey, like me. I am shocked most of my classmates are unaware with these diabolical and demonic activities that can manifest people. Though, I, myself is alarmed for I’ve been distant with my Church group and my devotion to God. This lesson enlightened and woke me from being dead and pushed me to pursue God deeper for the devil works all day, but I firmly believe and trust the Lord I am safe, by the Name and blood of Jesus. Though, I never say I don’t sin, but I know I need God to guide and protect me from the devil works. The world is never safe, unless I believe God is within me and He is with me until the end. He is waiting for my arrival, for He misses me. I am proud to have this discussion only made me realize how valuable and significant staying in the State of Grace is.

Nung last tuesday ay marami po akong natutunan tungkol sa The Catholic Ecclesiology nalaman ko na may mga layer o gaya ng first layer or 1st Sphere ay binubuo ng Servants of God, second layer or 2nd Sphere naman ay ang heavenly governer’s of creation, at third layer or 3rd Sphere naman ay kung nasan ang pricipalities of princes, Arch Angels at ang mga Guardian Angels.
Nalaman ko rin na maari malaman o makilala ang guardian angel natin sa pamamagitan ng araw ng ating kapanganakan. Sa totoo lang medyo kinikilabutan na ako sa mga topic na ating pinag-aaralan ngutin ako rin ay natutuwa dahil ako ay namumulat at napapalapit sa dyos.

To discover the mystery behind the “demonic and diabolical acts”, I am now educated towards it. I may now observe my acts, and responsibilities, same with my colleague’s, with our actions in performing such activities. As a member of the Catholic church, we must be knowledgeable and responsible as part of this. We should center our faith, only to Jesus, and God the Father, to disgrace “temptations” and the “unwanted” for the sake of peace and order. We must be passionate towards our faith in God, and God will answer or help us to succeed to those “temptations” and “unexpected happenings” only if we truly value him with all our heart. The most interesting and eye-opening part of the discussion is how structured and organized the faith of Catholics should be, by worshipping and glorifying God with the help of patron saints and their intercession, of how we should glorify God not just for ourselves, but for the church penitent in purgatory who are suffering for their sins. Because as the church militant, our job is to give praise to God not only for our own souls, but also for the dead, who are remembered by the living and are prayed for in hopes that their songs along with ours here on earth will be reunited with our creator, God, when the day of reckoning and judgement comes.

This topic Catholic Ecclesiology, leaves a golden message to me, that no matter how many angels above, if you don’t believe Jesus Christ, it is useless. For me, it’s a pleasure to me to learn about the different angels and their purposes why God made them. I am a christian, but I’ve never encountered for 3 years who are the angels above and their purposes. All I know is, there is angels above, but not their purposes and their different groups of angels. My faith awakened to the part that I heared about Mercy of Jesus Christ. It is stated that, whoever you are, whether you are a sinner or good person. The mercy of God has no limit, I asked myself how many sins did I commit. Then i realized that it is countless, because it so many countless sins that i commit everyday, whether if it is a small sin or a big sin, still it is a sin. Now, this word left tears in my eyes. “Chance”. Whoever you are, whatever you are, God’s mercy is UNLIMITED. Accoring to (Hebrews 8:12) “For i will be merciful to their wrongdoing, and i will never again remember their sins.” There is a chance for a sinner like me, like you and like us, just ask the forgiveness of God for He is the God of merciful and He will forgive you and He will never remember your sins again. My Faith has awakened, because of the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ.

In our class i learned many things such as the kingdom of God in heaven and his different angels, the truth about the heaven and hell i was enlighten that there’s no place such as hell it was only used as the indicator but the truth is hell means eternal punishment but as of now dead people go to communion of saints or in the purgatory where you still have a chance to go to the kingdom of God, For now while we are still alive we should follow the commandments of our God and pray to Him even though we commit sins if you’re sincerely sorry about that at the end of the day he’s still the loving and merciful God. Everytime that we have a class that is the time that i always feel at ease and peace and it helps me to build a stronger relationship with God, i’m looking forward to know more about him.

Bilang isang katoliko marami pa akong hindi alam at masarap sa pakiramdam na mabigyan ng pagkakataong malaman ang mga bagay na dapat kong malaman para lubos na mabuo ang aking pagkatao. Sa naganap na talakayan tungkol sa Catholic Ecclesiology and dami kong natutunan at ang dami kong realizations sa buhay. Ang parte ng talakayan kung saan ko lubos napatatag ang aking paniniwala bilang isang kristiano ay ang parte kung saan tinalakay ang “Three States of the Church” ito ay nahati sa tatlong dibisyon na binubuo ng Church Triumphant, Church Suffering at Church Militant. Ang Church Triumphant ay nahati sa iba’t ibang sphere at ito ay ang 1st Sphere kung saan kabilang ang mga Servants of God the Son, 2nd Sphere kung saan kabilang ang mga Heavenly Governors of Creation, 3rd Sphere kung saan kabilang ang mga Guides, Protectors at Messenger of God at ang pang huli ay ang Communication of Saints kung saan tayo maaaring mapabilang. Ang Church Suffering naman ay ang lugar kung saan napupunta ang mga tao na hinahanap pa rin yung enlightenment nila at yung mga tao na hindi pa lubos na nabubuo sapagkat may mga bagay silang hindi nagawa at nagawa na hindi nakabuti para sa kanila o sa iba. Ang Church Militant kung saan tayo napapabilang dahil ito yung tinutulungan ng mga communion of saint para lumagpas at hindi na dumaan pa sa purgatoryo. Sobra akong namangha sapagkat hindi ko lubos akalain na may ganito palang mga bagay na hanggang ngayon ay gumagawa pa rin ng paraan ang Diyos upang tayo ay protektahan at mapabuti at alam ko rin na hindi magsasawa ang ating Paginoong Diyos na mahalin tayo, gabayan at protektahan sa anumang kapahamakan sapagkat nais niyang kapag dumating na tayo sa dulo at magawa kung ano ba ang dapat nating gawin ay bumalik tayo sa kanya sapagkat ang huli nating destinasyon ay ang ating pagbalik sa kung sino ba ang siyang naglikha sa atin at alam ko na kapag dumating na ang takdang panahon taos puso at walang pag aalinlangan akong babalik patungo sa Panginoong Diyos.

I am really thankful and enlightened when discussed this lesson last Thursday. I learn about the the kingdom of God is divided into 3 spheres and communion of saints. I was so amazed to know the different types of angels because I thought they were just all the same since I was little. I was enlightened that different kinds of angels has a different role to play. I also learned about the purgatory and that there is no hell because it will contradict that God is merciful and kind. I was so amazed that God is really is so kind and full of mercy that even if we are a sinful person he still doesn’t want us to suffer that hard and still forgive us in what ever sin we made. I also learned that the bad people that died stays in the purgatory to pay for what they did and they are called the church suffering or church penitent. The church penitent will eventually join the church triumphant or those who are in heaven after they purge their imperfections. Us people on Earth who are engaged with spiritual welfare must pray for the church suffering for them to enter the kingdom of God. Actually I myself was questioning why do Catholics have saints when it is a sin to pray to others and we only have to pray in God. Also in this lesson I got the answer to my questions now about saints and why do us Catholics pray to them. I learned that we don’t really pray to the saints we pray to God and ask for their help to also pray for us because the saints are much closer to God so their prayers are much easier to connect with God. After this discussion with Sir Karlo my faith as a Catholic was reborn because of the enlightenment that this lesson brought to me. I was so thankful that my faith in God is now much stronger that ever because I know that he sent an angel to protect us and keep us away from harm.

Ang natutunan ko about sa topic last tuesday na ang angels ay may iba’t-ibang gampanin na ginagawa sa langit man o sa lupa. Ngayon ko lang din nalaman na mayroon palang mga sphere at sobrang layo pala natin kay God. Ang heaven ay tinatawag ding Church Triumphant habang ang mga kaluluwa ng mga namatay ay nasa purgatoryo palang at pinoproseso palang ang mga kasalanan na ginawa nila mabigat man o hindi bago sila pumunta ng langit, ito ang Church Suffery. Tayong mga nabubuhay na tao ay nasa Church Militant. Natutunan ko rin na may iba’t-ibang tawag sa mga angels kada sphere o kung gaano sila kalapit sa diyos. Ipinaliwanag din ni Sir Karlos ang mga hitsura nila at ang dahilan kung bakit ganun sila. Isa sa di ko nakalimutan sa topic ay na kapag nagdarasal pala tayo ay hindi kay God agad dumidiretso kundi sa angels at sila ang maghahatid ng ating mensahe sa kanya. Nakadepende rin kung anong guardian angels ang nagbabantay satin kung anong araw tayo ipinanganak ibig sabihin na sa dinami-rami ng tao sa buong daigdig, mayroon tayong tig-iisang guardian angels na nagbabantay sa atin.

I was suprised in our topic last monday because maybe yes I hear those words in church but I don’t know what it’s significance to the Church. The one who stays in purgatory will face his consequences to his/her sins. As a Sinner, I know my mistake. In this world God never asked for extravagant gifts but he asked that atleast say thank you every blessing that we received. God never leave us since day one. He even create an angel for us to be guided everyday. And by in pur CLE class I prove that God will never fail us to be safe and full of blessings.

In discussion , First i thought purgatoryo was a place where the dead person cleansed of sins but as i understood that purgatoryo is there for souls who cannot fulfill their destiny as if they could experience enternal punishment there. When seeking wisdom or a shift in perspective Archangel Jophiel is the archangel to call in to uplift you and help you see things from a different point of view. Archangel Ariel is watching over the earth’s natural resources, she can also be especially helpful in ensuring your needs for food, water, shelter and other supplies are met. Archangels Azrael meets souls and helps them in the transition of death, in addition to helping newly crossed over souls adjust. He also helps loved ones who are still on the earth plane in dealing with their grief and processing the loss. Archangel Chamuel His mission is to bring peace to the world and as such he protects the world from fear and lowers vibrating, negative energies. Nakaraang martes tinuro saamin ni sir karlo ang mga bahagi ng pintuan bago makarating sa langit. Ang tungkol sa Ecclesiology ay pinaliwanag ng mabuti saamin dahil hindi namin maunawaan nung umpisa. When I was a child I believe that there was Heaven and Hell as well as angels and demons. But I really don’t know who,where and what they are. But because of the discussion l, I learned a lot and there I realize that We were blessed because we’re studying in Catholic School because we have the oppurtunity to know a lot. Learning about Ecclesiology awakened my faith in God. This lesson taught me to believe and pray more knowing that doing this will save more souls in purgatory, where the dead souls are suffering due for their sins. Learning about the angels made me realize how God really loves us by creating a “soldiers” not only to protect his son but also to protect his creatures. In this lesson, it also inspire me to be a better person, not only for myself but also for the others.

The whole lesson was awakened me and give me knowledge as a Christian. At first, when i didn’t know those informations hindi ko lahat alam kung ano ano ang mga paniniwala ng isang Katoliko at kung ano ang mga dahilan kung bakit sila naniniwala dito. There was a point in my life that I doubt my religion, someone questions Catholic beliefs and it influences me to question my religion. I don’t know what are the importance and reasons behind the Catholic practices. There was a time that I want to change my religion because I think their beliefs was right than Catholic. However, I didn’t do that because I believe that time will come and there is someone who will explain to me the reason behind Catholic Religion, who will give me full understanding about my religion and that person is Sir Karlo, I believe that God sent me Sir Karlo as an instrument to awakened me. While Sir Karlo was discussing I realized how God is merciful and can forgive us how many things we did wrong. The whole lesson was all in my mind and in my heart. It helps me to strengthen my faith and to stick with my religion. It also helps me to be more closer to God and I believe Saints will help me to do that. Matapos ang ating naging discussion, maraming katanungan ang nasagot sa aking isipan at higit sa lahat marami akong natutunan. Naalala ko tuloy yung mga panahon na tinatanong ako ng kapitbahay namin na iba ang relihiyon. Tinanong niya ako kung bakit daw sinasamba naming mga katoliko ang mga santo. Isa daw iyon sa mga nakasulat na ipinagbabawal sa bibiliya. Yung mga panahong iyon hindi ko rin talaga alam ang kasagutan kaya minabuti ko nalang na umalis. Masaya ako dahil ngayon alam ko na ang kasagutan. Hindi tayo nagdarasal sa mga santo, humihingi tayo ng tulong sa kanila dahil sila ang malapit sa Diyos. Ang mga images at statue ay naglalarawan sa Diyos, pero hindi sila ang Diyos.
Nalaman ko din na ang purgatoryo at ang hell ay iisa lang. Na hindi totoo ang pagkakaintindi ko na sa hell ay susunugin ang iyong kaluluwa. Ang hell pala ay eternal punishment. Pag sa hell napunta ang isang kaluluwa, wala ng pag-asang mapunta sa langit, at pag sa purgatory, may pag-asa pa.

Na aamazed talaga ako sa mga topic mo palagi sir. kasi yung mga tinuturo mo samin as in wala pa talagang akong idea sa mga yun mas napalawak mo pa yung mg kaalaman ko sobrang nakakaexcite palgi yung mga tinuturo mo. Naging aware ako na ganyan ganto pala. Sobrang dami ko talagang natrutunan Lalo na yung sa mga angels ang akala ko dati yung mga anghel maraming lang sila tapos pare pareho lang yun pala may iba’t ibang klase anghel. Tapos sa langit may iba’t ibang sphere which is yung sa 1-3 sphere nandun yung iba’t ibang klaseng anghel sunod Communiuon of saint tapos sa baba nun yung pintuan ng langit o purgatoryo tapos nalaman ko din na ang guardian angel ko ay si Sealtiel na Angel of love sa kadahilanang pinanganak ako sa araw ng Martes.

During the discussion on monday , I do not know what is ecclesiology but Sir Karlo teach us what it is and now i fully understand what is ecclesiology it is the study community between the relationship with jesus and its role to salvation like our guardian angel is fully exist that sir karlo said to us our guardian angel , my guardian angel is gabriel the archangel he is my protector in this world , the lesson that the part i awakend is we are the whisperer to allow the spirit to come throught heaven because we pray for them .

Simula bata palang ako ang alam ko lang sa angel is to guide human pero hindi lang pala iyon ang tungkulin nila meron din palang iba’t ibang level ang angels sa langit at nalaman ko iyon ng maituro saamin ang Catholic Ecclesiology. Nakita ko nalang yung sarili ko na nakikinig ng mabuti habang nag lelesson kasi I love angels, marami kaming figurines na puro angels and they have beautiful images, pero ng malaman ko may ibang angel na hindi sobrang ganda at ang pinapakita na image sa figurine ay katawan ng bata ngunit hindi pala ito ang totoo, kundi ang cherubin na angel na ang paa ay nag mula sa Ox, mukha ng tao, katawan ng leon at pakpak ng eagle. As a Christian the part of the lesson awakened my faith is when sir asked as if we believe in hell or if hell is really existing and why there is such thing called purgatory. Napatanong talaga ako sa sarili ko, oo nga naman walang hell na nabanggit sa bible at nag karoon ng purgatoryo para walang mapunta sa hell dahil wala naman gugustuhin ang Diyos na mapunta sa impyeryo kaya mayroong purgatoryo kung saan nag kakaroon ng chance na sila ay mag bago at mapag buksan ng langit at patawarin ng Diyos sa ating mga sala.

I’m a Christian since i was 6 years old but i never encounter like what discussed yesterday. I was amazed about Catholic Ecclesiology, how God is great on us, how kingdom of heaven was so awesome. In this discussion i learned a lot of things about what is in the heaven, angels and demons are really exist and I’m exactly enlighten that our guardian angels always be with us also the demon that always temping us into a wrong decision. But there’s always a most powerful weapon which is prayer, because of prayer we can get away from sin, prayer is the best thing than anything else. In prayer we can directly talk to God. And by the help of prayer we can save life.

But there’s always a most powerful weapon which is prayer, because of prayer we can get away from sin, prayer is the best thing than anything else. In prayer we can directly talk to God.
