I wish you and your family a blessed and joy-filled Christmas!

As we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, we are reminded of the immense hope that His coming brings to a world longing for redemption. In our preparations too for the Holy Year 2025, the Holy Father invites us to a journey as Pilgrims of Hope, embracing the joy of the Incarnation and the promise of eternal life.

In the spirit of this holy season, let us reflect on the life of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati, whose example of faith, charity, and hope shines brightly in our modern age. Like the shepherds who hastened to the manger, Blessed Pier Giorgio was a tireless pilgrim, bringing Christ’s light to the poor, the marginalized, and his companions. His unwavering trust in God inspires us to face life’s challenges with courage and a deep sense of joy.

Christmas is not only a time of celebration but also an invitation to become living witnesses of Christ’s love. As we enter the Jubilee Year we are being reminded that we are all pilgrims, journeying together toward our heavenly home. On this path, we are called to walk with others—especially the poor, the marginalized, the brokenhearted and wounded souls and the vulnerable members of the society —offering them the hope and peace that the Light of Bethlehem brings.

As we kneel before the manger, let us ask for the grace to live out our faith boldly, as Blessed Pier Giorgio did. May his prayer echo in our hearts: “For us, Catholics, faith is not a burden; it is a source of immense joy.” Let this joy radiate in our communities, our actions, and our words, drawing others closer to Christ.

Dearest Promoters and Collaborators of Frassati Society and the YFIA Movement: Always bear in mind that we called to be the light of the world and salt of the earth. Stand firm in your faith, serve with love and carry the hope of Christ into every corner of society. And to the Reknew Your Faith community (subscribers and patrons): Please continue rediscovering and sharing the beauty of Catholicism, allowing others to encounter the living Christ through your witness.

As we celebrate this holy season, may the peace and joy of the Infant Jesus fill our hearts and homes. Together, as pilgrims of hope, let us journey with courage, trusting in God’s providence and inspired by the life of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati.
