DAY 1: JULY 30 (WEDNESDAY) – DEPARTURE FOR ROME

Your journey begins as you gather at Manila airport to board your overnight flight to Rome, Italy. The excitement is palpable as pilgrims embark on this life-changing pilgrimage. As the plane takes off, you can reflect on the days ahead, filled with spiritual renewal and unforgettable moments. Meals will be served onboard to ensure a comfortable flight.

DAY 2: JULY 31 (THURSDAY) – ROME’S FOUR MAJOR BASILICAS

Arriving in Rome, the Eternal City, marks the official start of your pilgrimage. After clearing customs and collecting your luggage, you’ll check in at Novotel Roma to freshen up and prepare for the day ahead. Following a hearty breakfast, you’ll visit the Four Major Basilicas, beginning with St. Peter’s Basilica to inaugurate your Jubilee pilgrimage. A private Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary Major, followed by visits to St. John Lateran and St. Paul Outside the Walls. Each site offers a profound encounter with history, faith, and the universality of the Church. The day concludes with dinner at Baghetto Restaurant.

DAY 3: AUGUST 1 (FRIDAY) – SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO

Today, the group sets off for San Giovanni Rotondo, the home of St. Pio of Pietrelcina. Upon arrival, you’ll visit the Basilica of San Giovanni Rotondo and the Chiesa di San Pio da Pietrelcina, where the saint’s relics are venerated. A private Mass will be celebrated at the Basilica of Santa Maria delle Grazie. The serene atmosphere of the Giardino del Rosario provides a peaceful moment for prayer and reflection. Dinner and overnight accommodations await at Hotel Gran Paradiso.

DAY 4: AUGUST 2 (SATURDAY) – SHRINE OF ST. MICHAEL AND RETURN TO ROME

After breakfast, the group journeys to the Shrine of Saint Michael the Archangel. Known for its breathtaking views and spiritual significance, this sacred site will host your private Mass. DAY 5: AUGUST 3 (SUNDAY) – CANONIZATION OF PIER GIORGIO FRASSATI

Today is the pinnacle of your pilgrimage. You’ll gather early at St. Peter’s Square to secure your spot for the canonization of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati. Witness the grandeur of this momentous event as Pope Francis declares Frassati a saint, celebrating his life of joyful holiness and service. In the afternoon, you’ll visit the Basilica of Santa Sabina and enjoy a special Rome city tour. DAY 6: AUGUST 4 (MONDAY) – ASSISI AND CARLO ACUTIS

After breakfast, the pilgrimage continues to Assisi, the town of St. Francis. You’ll visit the Basilica of St. Francis and celebrate a private Mass there, immersed in the tranquil beauty of this medieval town. In the afternoon, you’ll venerate the tomb of Blessed Carlo Acutis at Santa Maria Maggiore and visit the Basilica Cateriniana di San Domenico. Dinner at La Finestra and an overnight stay at Hotel Four Points provide a perfect end to a spiritually uplifting day.

DAY 7: AUGUST 5 (TUESDAY) – FLORENCE AND LEISURE

Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance, awaits you today. You’ll explore its historic attractions, including the Basilica of Santa Croce, where notable figures such as Michelangelo and Galileo are buried. A private Mass will deepen your spiritual experience. The afternoon offers leisure time for shopping and enjoying the vibrant culture of Florence. Dinner at I Tre Merli Restaurant caps off the day, followed by an overnight stay at Holiday Inn.

DAY 8: AUGUST 6 (WEDNESDAY) – THE FRASSATI WAY IN TURIN

Begin the day retracing the steps of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati in Turin. A private Mass will be celebrated at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, where his remains are enshrined. The journey continues to La Crocetta Parish and the Frassati family home, where he lived and died. You’ll also visit the Basilica of Mary Help of Christians, home to the relics of St. Dominic Savio and St. John Bosco. Dinner at Casale 93 and an overnight stay at NH Torino Centro Hotel round out the day.

DAY 9: AUGUST 7 (THURSDAY) – TURIN AND LADY OF OROPA

This morning, you’ll visit the Shrine of the Lady of Oropa, a site deeply cherished by Pier Giorgio. A private Mass will be held at Villa Ametis, the Frassati family’s summer home, where you’ll see the very room where he stayed. In the afternoon, the group departs for Milan. Dinner at Tom Kah Gai and an overnight stay at NH Milano 2 provide rest for the final day.

DAY 10: AUGUST 8 (FRIDAY) – MILAN AND DEPARTURE

The final day of your pilgrimage begins with a Thanksgiving Mass at the majestic Milan Cathedral (Duomo di Milano) for the Feast of Saint Dominic de Guzman. Afterward, enjoy some leisure time for shopping and purchasing pasalubong (souvenirs) to bring back home. As the sun sets on this incredible journey, you’ll gather for a farewell dinner near the airport before boarding your flight to Manila at 22:20.
